I came for a snowboarding trip to Rusutsu and Youtei 2 was a great place to stay because it’s very close to the gondola, excellent facilities for snowboarders, hot showers, laundry machines, friendly and helpful staff, and very convenient to 7-11. I would recommend anyone going to Rusutsu to stay at Youtei 2.

Fantastic location. Clean and well appointed. Everything I needed and nothing more. Just a few minor gripes, which are feedback for the hosts who were great: Most of the doors are too low, everyone bumps their head at least once. No secure lockers. Communal areas could benefit from more seating, which would encourage people to hang out. The kitchen (if you can call it that) could be improved. No need for any cooking equipment, but better / more seats and tables, would make the place much nicer. And the pillows are too thin! I hope this place doesn't become too popular, or it'll sell out and I won't be able to come back!
