I love the room until I tried to sleep, and because they did not key lock the outside door all we heard was banging of doors up until about midnight. Bev runs the breakfast room was not very friendly at all, and I caught her talking about me to other guest, whom I did not know(and I believe she did not know) because she didn’t do her job. When I called to talk about it, the manager told me that she would have a talk with her even though she witnessed it. We also caught the staff lying to us on two occasions first about the hot tub(which I did get to use the next day) the second one about the banging on the wall loudly in the next room with a hammer at 7 AM. I loved all the space in the room and from that point my stay went downhill. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a good nights sleep or to be treated with respect-not worth the money that I saved. First time staying in Michigan and had to deal with that rudeness from the hotel-terrible. The tissue holder was broken in the suite upon arrival and when I asked for the front desk managers boss she informed me she was the highest person I could talk to and was rather flip about the whole situation. There are plenty of other hotels around there that I’m sure you could get treated much nicer at.
