No hot water

A basic hotel within walking distance of Manchester with chargeable parking on site which was a big plus. Room was large but fairly basic and being at the front was prone to traffic noise which is somewhat expected in a city. The big negative was No hot water! Cold shower in the morning. We let them know at reception as we checked out - she offered to try & find another room with hot water (too late by that stage) and said they'd offer a free upgrade next time - we wouldn't revisit & they had no way of knowing who they offered that to!

Great location, felt safe.

Lovely hotel, great location. Will certainly stay again. Cuppa pug, Persian cafe and Tapas bar on opposite side of the road, highly recommend.

Firstly the staff were very polite and helpful. They were always willing to answer questions and help out where necessary. Nick and Alfie in particular went above and beyond. Next, Check in was really easy and quick. The room we had originally booked was nice and spacious for what we paid. There was however, an issue with the carpet being soaking wet in most areas (possibly just an unlucky leak or something). When mentioned to Nick, we were quickly accommodated and upgraded to a really nice room. This room had no issues; it was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfy. In the evening (7pm onwards) Alfie was very friendly and helpful; Suggesting places to eat and making conversation about our plans. When we came back later in the evening, the entrances were locked and on a buzz-in system to ensure safety. You are able to purchase some drinks and snacks in the lobby with some microwaveable meals for those with microwaves in their rooms. Overall, we had a really nice stay, and will definitely be staying again.

Nice Room- not the cleanest

Room had stains on the carpet and the bed did not appear to be king size which we had paid for. The room also didn’t have a bath as described. The reception staff were lovely and hotel was in a good location

Glad to be back, but to a slightly different hotel

Been here before lots of changes since last visit the bar area has gone and rooms have been upgraded friendly check in staff, excellent breakfast even the no pork sausages, room was trendy and comfortable albeit could hear the build up of the morning traffic, great if you have a car bit of a walk to the nearest tram stop.

Great Value and Experience

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Checked in early no problem. Stayed in a duplex which was amazing value for money. Really spacious and loads of facilities. Breakfast was really nice, coffee was brilliant. Whole experience from start to finish was really good, would highly recommend.

Very average hotel.

Generally nice but no really working space, had ro run shower for 4 to 5 minutes to get hot water. Bed was ok. If this was a travelodge id have rather it good but for a 4 star hotel id have expectes more. Only offers microwave meals on an evening
