Weekend Stay for Monster Jam World Finals
My son, my wife and I stayed here for 4 nights while attending Monster Jam World Finals at Rice-Eccles Stadium over the July 4th weekend. This hotel was the best choice for this event.
Every member of the staff we met during our stay was friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived even though we were there 30 minutes before our check in time. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy. We did have a minor issue come up during our stay but let it be known that it was resolved within 12 hours by the hotel staff. Just a note about the room remember to bring your dongles for your phones especially if your devices use c ports. They have a couple usb ports in the room but they are plenty of outlets to charge all your devices. The FREE WiFi was fast. The hotel does have 3 restaurants Thistle & Thyme which was open for breakfast. The Skybrook Kitchen + Bar which was open for lunch and dinner. Then Starbucks which was open for breakfast. There is not much around the hotel for food so we used GrubHub and Uber Eats to have food brought in. One of the best things about the hotel is you are only a little over a mile walk away from Rice-Eccles stadium.
If you are attending an event at Rice-Eccles stadium and do not want to hassle with traffic or parking I would recommend staying here. My rating : BEST.
