There was a broken lamp which couldn't be replaced. Not a lot of AC outlets in the room. Not enough light. The bed was comfortable, the fridge and microwave worked. The room was clean.

Don't stay here

Don't waste your time or money staying here. They asked me to pay an extra cash deposit when I arrived to make sure the room was no smoking and I didn't have any visitors after 8pm. The walls and curtains were dirty and the towels I'm assuming were clean but they were not white anymore. If I had been with my kids I never would have checked in. As it was, I stayed there 1 night out of the 4 I booked and then got a room somewhere else. The remainder was non-refundable and the desk staff never asked why I was checking out early.

The whole place really needs an upgrade. Lots of rusting and chipping and peeling. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the bedding was clean and the mattress good. Also they actually charge your credit card $100 extra dollars as a damage deposit which they say they will reimburse in a week or two. That was unsettling.

It's a nice enough place on a budget

The Metropolitan Inn was sufficient for the price. Pictures tend to give a little better impression of the condition, but after I adjusted expectations to be more in line with a motel....I was happy. Courteous staff!

Smelled like it had flooded at some point , floors looked dirty/stained. Looked like whoever painted walls didn’t care if the paint dripped onto counters,floor and in shower. Just seemed pretty run down
