We loved everything about our stay at the Wetherly. It was a perfect getaway weekend and weâll definitely be back. Thanks Stephanie for being so welcoming and attentive. You and your family really made a piece of heaven out there! Upon our first morning I felt we had woken up into a fairytale.
Our only suggestion would be to make the coffee a little stronger. Given your enterprising nature, we know you can make this happen easily. Other than that, we enjoyed tremendously the pool, the fire pit, the pond and sitting area, the lounging in our sunny comfortable room (Gold Room).

It's hard to explain how beautiful the grounds are at Wetherly Inn! The hosts Merideth, Pete and Sam were really sweet and kind during our entire stay. We spent 9 nights at the Inn during our honeymoon and it was the best part of the whole Salt Spring Island experience. They have a great game room, large pool, and many private spaces for seating. I can wholly recommend staying at the inn, and this is coming from someone that does not even like travellong.
This property is a little piece of paradise. Everything about it is 5-star; the owners, the facilities, the grounds, the food, the amenities âŠliterally everything. I look forward to returning for another stay, and highly recommend it .
Tucked in the forest, down a country lane is the Wetherley Inn, a complete gem of a Inn/B n B. It features a stunning garden including a pool worthy of a French Chateau picture, pond, streams, fountains and gardens full of bees, butterflies and other woodland creatures. It was magical. The rooms a comfortable and the made from scratch continental breakfast with warm bread and cappuccinos while sitting outside was to die for. You should check it out.
We have traveled from New Zealand to
Europe, Costa Rica, Canada and Mexico. This truly is one of the most lovely properties we have stayed. Peaceful and serene with the most gracious hosts you would want to meet. So many private corners to sit and read your book and the pool is so inviting we were sorry we hadnt packed our suits! Be prepared to drive a bit out of town, but Sephanie's recommendations for dining were spot on! Perhaps the next trip we will be abke to atay more than three nights!
A little gem surrounded by a beautiful garden with streams and waterfalls and the swimming pool was a lovely bonus. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind in the tranquility of this unique property. Thank you to our host, Stephanie, who made our stay so pleasant and comfortable.
This is a place to come back to again and again. The grounds are simply amazing, the rooms beyond comfortable, the warm pool and the best service ever. It is a convenient 9 minutes from Ganges and 22 from the Fulford ferry. It is well positioned to discover Salt Spring Island. The snacks and breakfast are home made and to die for.
Weatherly was amazing from start to finish.
Stephanie was a gracious host and an amazing cook. Fresh bread and cinnamon buns for breakfast along with fresh fruit, yogurt, lattes, and so much more. The pool was warm and inviting, the hot tub was welcome after a day of hiking, and there were spacious grounds to admire and walk in.
The bed was great as was the shower pressure. We also had a soaker tub in our room and a fireplace. The wake-up knock with latte at the time we selected before breakfast was a welcome surprise and we enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the dock in the pond.
Excellent in all respects.
Wetherly Inn has been the highlight of my stay on Salt Spring Island. It is a beautifully crafted, family run but very sophisticated luxury boutique hotel. Very secluded and romantic both the room and the gardens/pool etc., so much that the hotel is the best choice for romantic couples I believe. It gave me the chance to rest and take a refuge from the busy daily life as a solo traveler. Renting a car is necessary if you plan to take excursions during your stay and especially if you plan to dine in the evenings (no food is served except for the very delicious, healthy and home made breakfasts), but there is a very chic guest kitchen where you can prepare and have snacks. Especially if you plan to attend a wine- cheese tasting tour like I did, you can serve yourself (and maybe share with other guests :)) the delicious goat cheeses and wines of the island but please do not forget to go out in the garden and enjoy a glass of wine or two on the romantic pond/ at the fire pit ( hotel management even prepared plastic glasses for wine experiences in the garden and glass options for your room or elsewhere in the hotel, which is like a chalet). The fire places and the big bathtubs in the rooms are another romantic touch (which can make a solo traveler feel a bit lonely :)) but overall this boutique hotel deserves an award in many ways, a big congratulations to the owners; one of the best hotels of its kind in more than 25 countries and 70 plus cities I have been to around the globe.
This was our 2nd time after a very memorable stay a couple of years ago and we were not disappointed. The most wonderful experience in beautiful grounds, excellent breakfast and Stephanie.was a great host. The room was very well appointed - highly recommended for a few days away from it all while being pampered.
