Stayed here 50 years ago, great to visit again.

Oboe of my fondest memories is when we stayed in this hotel 50 years ago when it was a Holidome. To a bunch of pre-teens, a hotel with indoor pool, hot tub and mini-golf was the coolest thing ever. We caused quite a ruckus that night and had a blast. They say you can’t go back, but it was great to stay in a hotel where we made such amazing memories.

The bed in 110 needs replacing. It was seriously sagging. We were hanging on to the sides to keep from rolling yo the middle all night. Not a good sleep.

There were gnats everywhere. Even the girl that checked me in swallowed one and was gagging. The room was musty and needs updating. The breakfast was late and we had somewhere to go so we had to hurry and eat. I did see where you have going to be doing some updates. I'm happy about that.

Breakfast was supposed to be at 7am which is late for a weekday. I had to be somewhere on the northside of town by 8am. I arrived for breakfast 7:11 and nothing was ready. 7:15 they loaded the assembly line which gave me less than 15 min to eat so I could be at my event at 8.

Upon arrival check in area was filthy. The windows were covered with an oily film with gnats stuck in it. Sign said they had a gnat problem. Not eating somewhere they have been spraying something all over to kill gnats. When we went to the room it was heavily perfumed to cover up a bad smell. We both started getting headaches. We were not even in the room 5 minutes. Told desk clerk we had to go. Would not stay there if it was free.

After a terrible experience at a different hotel they were very welcoming and delightful. Made that last day of our trip very enjoyable. Was not happy with the way maintenance treated me when my toilet clogged. Over all it was definitely a 9 out of 10
