The staff were super helpful! I walked around downtown San Antonio and the River Walk from the hotel. I parked in the City Tower Garage one block away because it only cost $10 a day.

Warm friendly and clean hotel

I had a corner room that overlooked the San Fernando Cathedral. Everything was wonderful. I requested more coffee and creamer which was delivered promptly. The 1 Watson rooftop bar was terrific. Hotel is across the street from the entrance to the Riverwalk and across the street from the church. Less than a half a mile (walking distance) to El Mercado. Loved it.

Hotel is in need of serious improvements. The elevators took a really long time and eere overcrowded. Soap dispensers were out. Hallway carpets were dirty and had stains everywhere. The breakfast was a disappointment. And the service was notvery good. This is not a 4 star hotel. Closer to a 2 or 3 star at best.

The location is perfect for walking to the river walk and the marketplace. The room was comfortable, very nice and had a large refrigerator. We will definitely stay here again when we visit San Antonio
