The bathroom shower was unusable (shower curtain looked like blood stains and then the drain plug was left open). The bed sheet had a stain. Upon arrival I was offered a box fan because they don’t have AC per room. First night was a little hot even with fan.

Our stay at the Menger Hotel was truly lovely! The adornment throughout is beautiful, the service prompt and thorough, and the easy access to the riverwalk and surrounding area was very convenient! We especially loved the servers at breakfast, so personable and kind. I recommend this place 100%!

Staff was courteous, but room wasn't completely clean. Carpet dirty and un vacuumed, no light bulbs in lamps, some mold in shower. Room adjacent to mall entrance in alley. People in mall looked directly into room with curtains open. Won't stay here again, but will do a walk thru.

Everyone was great our room was hot the lady on 3rd shift went beyond and got us a fan. Then her and I checked about 20 other rooms to see if any of them were cool. Got lots of ghost chatter on my ghost tube app. But overall, it was great a beautiful hotel.

The room was lovely but definitely needed a deep clean very dusty and a bit grimey. We also had the Heat/AC go bezerk and our room was insanely hot and we had to shut the air conditioning off completely and open the windows (despite it being a cold night we only managed to get the temp down to 72°).

It was OK in general, but the AC didn’t work, fortunately it was cold outside so we decided to sleep with the balcony fully opened, also there is a smell through the hallways that we think it’s because it is TOO OLD, it certainly needs renovations, we get the historic landmark part but it needs to be updated as well.
