This vintage home converted into foir different suites was actullay a really good stay! The are is questionable for sure, but i grew up in worse so i can over look it because this little place waa great. I recommend staying here for any San Anronio eventa you have. Its so close to everything. I do love that there is parking for the guest and the host are very friendly and accommodating. If i need to stay in SA again i will definitely book this place.
A very dangerous neighborhood, you can check on the internet. The worst in the San Antonio area with regular break-ins and gangs. Avoid at all costs, especially if you are a woman. The place was not at all as it was advertised, and the manager, Paulina, was very rude and a fraudster who tried to charge me an extra night (70) because as I was departing to the airport on the last day, the faucet got plugged. Avoid this unprofessional and nasty place.
This was the perfect stay! I was super close to activities downtown. Checking in to the location was super easy! The host was super accommodating and checked on me throughout the stay
The Vrbo was close to all of the Stock Show events, clean, and excellent service. We had an issue and it was resolved ASAP! We will definitely stay there again!
Great stay and property!! Really cool old home that has been renovated into 4 suites!! Really nicely renovated without foresaking old charm!! Really nice bathrooms and neat balcony!! Very clean and comfortable!! We booked the two 2nd floor suites and home Was within walking distance to the Alamodome where my son's band was playing so it was a perfect location!!! Will be staying here again next year if our band makes another trip to state, fingers crossed! For breakfast, go to Tony G's right down the street on Hackberry - amazing breakfast!! Thanks for the great stay!!
Such a comfortable and well located property. The private outdoor space was wonderful. Hosts were communicative and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Location not the best area, pics just as shown, cleanliness poor.
Me and my partner stayed here. For starters the location of the house itself is in a poor area. Even checking with a friend who used to live here said itâs not the best place. That being said parking was out of the way and I felt the car was hidden enough to be good (as well as cameras). The room we stayed in (c) was great. Loved the way it looked except the trash under our bed and the soap scum on the showers. Needs better cleaning and the room itself would be 10/10. Definitely recommend a fan if staying here. Took 2 days for the room to cool down on its own. We got a fan the third day and it was still needed after room cooled off. Pictures show exactly what the room is. The top shower head did spray kinda crazy and it felt weird letting water get out, so we did use the hand held shower sprayer.
Would have made the overall rating 3 stars had it been cleaner. Just depends about location and your own comfort. Other than that room was pretty decent. Bed felt great.
And when I did message with any questions they did respond at a reasonable time.
This location is a couple blocks from MLK and the area is scary. Unless packing a self defense object, I would not suggest. No microwave and nails all over the ground on parking area.
The suite was as depicted in the listing, clean, very comfortable for my wife and I! Location was convenient to River walk and downtown attractions, only a few blocks away. We didn't feel comfortable walking to downtown.
Bathtub could really use a curtain enclosure for warmth and prevent water on floor.
Overall, an economical, nice and convenient location.
We absolutely loved the space - super cute with everything we needed. And the bathroom was incredible! And it was located so close to downtown and the Pearl!
We will definitely be booking this space again the next time weâre in San Antonio!
We stayed at the Nevada street room C upstairs for 4 full days. We like the atmosphere of the room, it has a very spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. When you walk in the kitchenette area is to your right.
Booking our stay was very easy, and getting the check in and out was easy.
Now let's talk about Pros and Cons.
Pros: clean room, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, close to downtown and Alamo area. Outside sitting area is awesome.
Cons: noisy floors, if you are in the downstairs bedroom you will hear everything. There was someone staying in a room across from us and we could hear them talking, showering and etc.
Next door neighbor has a dog that won't stop barking.
Room needs black out shades.
TV location is not ideal.
Overall our stay was comfortable.
Location is convenient for a day walk to downtown. Floors appear original. My unit had ac but it was sort of catty cornered. The cool air would sit on one side of the room. I think for suite c they should just take out the fancy light above and install a ceiling fan. I bought a box fan to evenly distribute the air and it worked. Bed was fine but the bathroom was phenomenal. Great deck space. Overall I did enjoy the experience.
The mini-studio apartment was lovely; the luxurious bath was my favorite. A small inconvenience was the temperature of the room; it was a bit warm for me; Iâm a fan of 65° sleeping temp:)
I was a bit nervous about staying here but once we arrivedâŠ. I was shocked! Very close to the River Walk and Downtown area. The room was exactly like the pictures and the bathroom was everything!!!
The balcony, suite, & bathroom were all beautiful . The kitchenette was complete with pans, utensils, coffee maker and plates as well as a fridge. The waterfall shower head was very cool and the room was perfect! Would stay again. They made check in and out a breeze
Pictures and representation of property is accurate. Very comfortable stay. Onsite, parking was a big plus. Great location to the places we want to see and do. And a great neighborhood restaurant just down street.
