Nice place, very clean, good beds, didn't realize that it was an upstairs unit, the management company was very responsive, we walked everywhere and loved it so close to the beach and bay.

Great location

The property was in an ideal location close to the beach and the bay. However, we had a few issues with the unit. The description said the property has WiFi. It wouldn’t work. The carbon monoxide detector was beeping when we arrived. Also, the tub didn’t work in the big bathroom. We emailed the property contact about all of the issues. We were told the WiFi information was in the binder on the desk and new batteries were in the kitchen drawer. There wasn’t a WiFi code in the binder and there were no batteries in the drawer. We had to unplug the detector (not very safe) and we had to use the internet at a local cafe(not at all convenient)! We used washcloths to plug the drain in the tub so our toddler could take a bath. For the price we paid, I’m not sure it was worth the inconvenience đŸ˜©

Perfect getaway with 3 generations

Came to visit our daughter and the place was perfect for us. Parking was easy and the checkin process couldn’t have been better. Location was great with bars, restaurants, the ocean and bay all within walking distance.

AMAZING

I have stayed in mission beach twice and this location is the best place EVER. The amenities were incredible. The patio is huge, there’s a smart TV in each room. The garage is nice, a little small, but it works! Washer and dryer is nice as well. everything was clean and nice. There was even a first aid kit! The binder of information was extremely helpful and the location was perfect.

Cleanliness & needed repairs

The bedding was not cleaned or changed from previous guests. The bedding had sand from past guests and we had to wash and change bedding ourselves on Saturday a.m. trash was not taken out and about 50% of the lights were either burnt out or not operable, not sure which. The location is perfect and outdoor space was relaxing.

Wonderful stay!

I loved staying here! Its right between the ocean and bay! Perfect location! The property was immaculate and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and rooms were nice size. It was great having a garage and my Cherokee fit as parking in Cali is a challenge. Walking distance to restaurants right in the middle of the action but set back enough from it all. The host was kind as well as the housekeeping staff! We were able to bring our dog too! I recommend staying here for sure! Thank you!! Christina

Great location but a couple drawbacks

My family enjoyed the ability to walk half a block to the bay or a block and a half to the ocean. It couldn’t have been more convenient. The location was a 10 min walk north of Belmont park, so close enough to easily access, but far enough away to be removed from the crowds. Accommodations were nice enough and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment. On reading other reviews, I saw that it was easy to hear downstairs neighbors. This is true. We couldn’t hear talking so much as the daily activity of people walking and bumping around. And each time the garage door opened it was loud, especially for the bedroom above the garage and the main kitchen/living area. We also discovered the unit experiencing electrical issues. We had the power go out in the middle of the night and also one morning. I found myself with the downstairs tenants at the breaker boxes at the side of the garage flipping breakers. The outages were specific to the building, and seemed pretty random. Neither of us had put stress on the circuits, especially during the event in the middle of the night. Shortcomings aside, we enjoyed ourselves. The price was right, but you get what you pay for.

This was a very nice property, amenties were amazing! Check in was easy. Everything was nice and tidy and cozy, loved it! A perfect place, but the walls and floors are thin. So can hear everything, but I loved it and it was amazing property. You should book there!

False Advertising

Firstly - no a/c - doesn't say there isn't or is a/c. Clearly not telling the whole truth. Tenants across from us and near us had a/c. Garage was stated as a 2 car garage - not happening. Barely fit one car. Parking is definitely an issue if you're bringing more than one car. The bathrooms were not clean at all. The cleaning people left all the other tenants shampoo, soap, etc in the shower. Definitely not sanitized. Because of this issue, we were also afraid to sleep in the beds wondering if they had been cleaned or not. Luckily I brought a lot of Lysol Spray with me. One of the bathroom showers was fixed with tape. The curtains in the living room were torn. The only plus is that it was by the beach. Definitely not worth the money paid.

Great location, larger than appears

My family loved staying here. Had everything we needed, they approved our dog too. Perfect location, walk around the corner and you’re on the beautiful bay with walking path. Go the opposite way and your on the beach. So easy, 10 min to the zoo. We would go to the zoo in the morning and beach in the afternoon. The layout makes the place feel quite large. The outside porch is great.
