Great location, great Staff, great rooms, clean, convenient, super cute hotel! Perfect location at the far end of the Gaslamp District which is the quieter section. Everything is walkable within a few minutes. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, Staff definitely cares and it shows!

Very Awesome Honeymoon

It was great. Will miss it for sure doggy dog. It was close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Beds were comfy and the whole suit was homey.

The property was very clean and safe. I received two $35 vouchers for food in their cafe, which essentially zeroed out the daily fees. I also received two wine vouchers. Such a great value. My room was beautiful and I will definitely look at booking here again in the future.

What a unique experience my husband and I enjoyed this weekend at Alma. Hands down one of the 5 best properties we’ve stayed in the last few years. It has a boutique feeling so the room felt inviting and comfortable. My only complaint if any, I wish the bathroom door was able to close further for privacy.

Our stay at the Alma was absolutely incredible. After a horrific experience at an Airbnb, we made the reso at Alma, and Nina at the front desk could have not been more wonderful in accommodating us. Nina is literally a superstar who is kind, caring and offers top tier customer service. Our stay at Alma turned what could have been a ruined trip into an amazing weekend in San Diego! Property’s location is great and very convenient. Only downfall is that cleaning occurs extremely late after 4pm instead of the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walls are super thin so you can hear everything in the morning when maintenance is doing work outside your door
