A Home Away From Home

Let me say, our stay at Shannon's home way exceeded our expectations and I admit my bar is pretty high. She had everything one would need down to items you would have in your "junk drawer". Her attention to details were do on point. Her property was in a great location with a beautiful backyard and view. I traveled with my parents for my son's graduation from SDSU and there was plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing, or hang together and have my other son and his girfriend join us for meals. There is a Smart and Final 4 minutes away that had everything grocery wise. The home was as in the pictures, nicely decorated including comfy beds and furniture. Communicating with her was super easy - she was very responsive and a lifesaver in finding an item that got left behind. Don't hesitate to stay at her property! You won't be disapponted!

West Coast Adventure

This was the perfect destination to end our 1,500 mile West Coast adventure. Our accomodations were just the relaxing end we needed. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Delightful Home, Beautiful View

This beautiful home is well-equipped for a family stay, with plenty of room, lots of games and activities, space for family meals, a hot tub, and a large yard with spots to relax and take in the amazing view. Shannon was a responsive and generous host. We picked this home specifically for its location close to family in the neighborhood, but it’s also a great location to start exploring San Diego. We hope to rent this home again when we visit our family next time. Thank you, Shannon, for a very comfortable weekend!

Quiet, Relaxing and Inclusive for Dogs

This is a great house to stay at while you're in San Diego. It's about 12 miles from the airport and 15 minutes to downtown. There is a grocery store about 5 minutes away. Very quiet street and the house boasts some amazing views at night. We traveled with our family of 6 and 1 adult guest and a dog - we all had a very comfortable stay. The beds are great! If you forget your chargers at home - not to worry as Shannon has you covered in all the rooms. The kitchen had what we needed to cover some of our meals. Shannon was easy to interact with. She loves and welcomes dogs. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful home in central location

This home had it all..a very responsive and friendly host, great central location only 15-20 minutes of airport/downtown/beaches/Little Italy/Balboa Park, safe neighborhood, high-end finishes, extremely clean, fenced yard with expansive view, and the little touches that make a house feel like a home. It was absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend this home and hope to return there someday.

Amazingly thoughtful host

I outreached to Shannon after another house cancelled on my family on short notice. We were in search of a house for my family of 7 to stay at and host a baby shower for my sister. Shannon went above and beyond in every way. Even though she doesn't typically allow events, she made an exception for us. She offered us use of extra chairs, serving platters, vases, etc for the party and was available and easy to communicate with throughout our entire stay. Her house was lovely as well - it's a very comfortable and updated home in a quiet neighborhood with a great backyard and view - it was perfect for our event! I can't recommend Shannon and her home enough!

Wonderful place to spend time with family amd friends.

This home was absolutely stunning. The host thought of everything, from beach towels to little things like a special cup for my sister's birthday. The property is absolutely stunning and very quiet. It has a fabulous backyard. I will be staying again when I revisit the area.

What a great weekend!

We booked this home last minute for a weekend trip to Seaworld. This home had everything we needed and plenty more than that. We love the location and the backyard, it was awesome to unwind, let the kids play & enjoy life. The thing that sticks out with the property is the owner. Shannon was amazing and responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had a memorable and comfortable stay. We rent homes quite a bit through VRBO and Shannon definitely stands head and shoulders above other owners we have dealt with. Book with confidence and have a great time in a wonderful city!!!

UCSD Graduation Weekend

This was the perfect place for us to stay for my daughter's UCSD grad weekend! We wanted a place where our family of 5 and my parents and sister & her family could all stay together. There was 10 of us total and it was plenty of space, both inside and out. Shannon was an amazing host and extremely easy to work with. She even left cute graduation decorations and glasses for us to use in our celebrations! The backyard was amazing. Plenty of seating, great views, a hot tub and fire pit! Family Fun

We really enjoyed our weekend here. We went out to SD to support an upcoming boxer (Alan “Kid Kansas” Garcia) and wanted something close to the Pechanga Arena and this property was one of the ones that popped up. I would recommend this property not only are the neighbors friendly they greet you like if they know you. The view is amazing. All around the house is just so beautiful and clean. The host Shannon is amazing very easy to get ahold of and makes sure everything is perfect for your stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Scenic, relaxing, private yet close to all that San Diego offers!

This house is in a quiet neighborhood with neighbors on both sides, although you certainly wouldn't know it. This house is situated in such a way as to offer privacy in every direction from the house and backyard, with an incredible view of San Diego from the back yard. Our group of 10 enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The host was truly accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with! We especially enjoyed the backyard with it's firepit, 2 hammocks, 2-person swing overlooking the view, the hot tub and the bbq. All the comforts you'd ever want! Plenty of seating for us all; both indoors and out. We got a kick out of the owner's fantastic sense of humor as noted in the decor. I was nervous about trying out VRBO for the first time, but if this stay is any indication, we will be doing this again in the future. I cannot recommend this house or hostess more, it was everything and more that we had hoped for! Thank you Shannon, and thank you VRBO!!!
