Great location. Rooms were average but nice views. Did not get to enjoy the pool due to rainy weather. There was a turf area that seemed to be for kids but honestly it was pretty generic - my 3 and 1 year old did not spend more than 5 minutes before losing interest. Our bathroom was also super tight and had a tub shower with weak water pressure. Overall it was a nice stay but I probably would stay elsewhere for the amount I paid.

Beware, this hotel over charged us and to this date, multiple charges have been placed on my credit card. I am currently disputing the charges. The front desk was very unprofessional and did not provide any support.

The property itself is beautiful, and the staff was so kind. However, the walls were extremely thin - I could hear every detail of phone conversations and morning alarms. And the hotel is slightly isolated from most food and entertainment. I had a hefty Uber bill by the end of the week.

Old hotel, terrible Hyatt experience. Dirty room hadn’t been vacuumed properly. My son found months of others people’s stuff under furniture including medication. The hotel is old and shoeing its age. The poor was closed in areas for painting. The parking is $50 when parking is free outside. The breakfast included in your room rate does not include eggs $7 or coffee $9. Pretty poor by Hyatt won’t be staying here again and not worth the current price. Overrated 3/10

The staff is amazing. They’re so kind and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and the food is great. We love that this hotel is relatively close to the zoo, Sea World, Belmont Park and Mission Beach. We highly recommend!

The restaurants around the area are very limited. For the price of the hotel there wasn’t anything amazing. The water slides were fun for the kids but pool and spa aren’t heated that well. Staff was very friendly.
