We were exhausted after our flights were delayed and then missed/canceled. The front desk lady told us there was nothing open in the town. Just to find out they were in partnership with one place that they only wanted you to go to. After finding something to eat, we finally got back to the room to go to sleep and at 4 AM the fire alarm was going off for no apparent reason The front desk guy told us there was nothing to be concerned about after we evacuated in the freezing cold But it kept chirping and blue lights, flashing, couldn't wait to get out of there.

Great staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to major transit station. Only negatives were the small breakfast area and rooms not very soundproof. If weather is nice, you can eat breakfast outside. Very budget friendly also. Overall, would recommend staying here.

ROOM WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN, HOWEVER, DESPITE THE SIZE OF THE ROOM, THERE WAS NOWHERE TO HANG CLOTHES UP, POOR DESIGN. THE STAFF WE ENGAGED WITH WERE VERY HELPFUL . THE ONLY REAL COMPLAINT IS ABOUT THE BREAKFAST BAR, VERY SMALL AND HAD TO SIT ON THE BALCONY OUTSIDE, JUST AS WELL IT DIDN'T RAIN. ALSO THE RANGE OF BREAKFAST WAS VERY BASIC.

Everything was clean. The room was spacious. Beds were comfy. The only thing could be imporved is breakfast. It was just carbs: waffles, muffins, white bread, cereal. No fruits or protein. Great hotel and location overall.

My husband and I stayed at the Western Inn Old Town for one night over Thanksgiving while visiting family, and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel was very nice, exceptionally clean, and our room was surprisingly spacious with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The location is unbeatable—right in Old Town, San Diego, making it easy to walk around and enjoy the area. So many great places to check out. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the manager, Sanjay, was especially friendly and hospitable. He truly made us feel at home. We will definitely be back again. It was the perfect stay and truly enjoyable from start to finish!
