Wonderfully located property and a literal 2 minute walk to the beach. Nice places to grab breakfast and happy hour very close as well.! There is a delicious place for breakfast at the Olive Cafe literally two houses to the right; highly recommend their acai bowl and pancakes (my 8 year old niece, loved!) Cute and quaint, exactly as the photos. The room we had, the light from the patio shined in all night and made it challenging for me to sleep. The lights are on timers so they come on at a specific time each day. I reached out to staff via email; didn't find anyone in the lobby, and was told there wasn't anything they could do at this time. It is a newer hotel and they are fine tuning some things, a cute boutique hotel. I wish I wasn't sensitive to light and would have thought there were black out curtains, or some shade from outside light. Our room had nothing but a sheer cover over the window that was right next to the bed. If you stay and are sensitive to light, bring an eye mask. Otherwise, a great place. Their model is on efficiency and that is definitely what we experienced.

Julia, the manager, is so kind and helpful. The location of this property is not even a full block from the Mission Bay Harbor and promenade where grass and sand meet. It is two blocks straight to Mission Beach (lifeguard stand 19). The alley is tight for an oversized vehicle and parking is very limited at the hotel. We were able to find a parking spot for our stay and never moved our car - there was no need to. Shopping, dining, coffee, was right there!! The room was decorated very nice. It was very very clean and full kitchen. It was private and comfortable. Julia added to our stay with her helpfulness and kind personality. We took advantage of the free rentals from Cheap Rents - bikes, paddle boards, and beach chairs just up the street a few steps. What a wonderful service to offer. Made our stay even better. I would stay hear again- it is not beach front or ocean front views but the common patio is comfortable- lots of traffic and a little noisy but great for people watching.

This is such a cute place in the heart of all the things. The studio was the prefect size, comfy bed, great kitchenette, and stylish bathroom. Definitely going back and making this my first booking option in the future. One more reason I love visiting San Diego!

I loved the sleek interior and lighting. I was very happy to find a bidet in the restroom. The beach was close by, so I was able to take frequent walks and relax. It was a place I would definitely visit again.

Pros: location, earlier check in if available Cons: the walls are so thin we could hear people’s stomping and conversations from other rooms which really affected our sleep, there’s no one on site after 5PM so if you’re having any issues with your lock, your room, or parking, good luck! we paid $25 for overnight parking only to come back with no spot and having to park in the back of the hotel (which was not told to us by the front desk), the towels had hair on them, otherwise the hotel was clean. We would not stay again. Area is sketchy but close by to cool places.

Loved the location. One of the best hotels I have stayed in the area. Well priced and they had great recommendations on local restaurants and even give promos. The only critiques I had was there was hair still all over the bed. The mirror had water spots. The toilet had some stuff around the top of the bowl. Just felt like they might not of cleaned it very well. The side door was hard to open in our room. I would give them another shot and the decorations had a great vibe.
