We stayed at the Wayfarer San Diego for three nights and booked three separate rooms. We did have to move two rooms at check-in due to some minor issues, but Michael, the front desk manager, handled everything quickly and followed up to make sure we were taken care of. Alyssa and the rest of the front desk staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. For a âcity view,â we actually had a nice glimpse of the ocean, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. The only downside was that a couple of the rooms had a slight mildew smell.
Parking at $40 a night is steep, especially considering how tight the spaces are, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again.
