This room is literally on the sand. Big picture window with ocean views on ground level. The beach is clean and gorgeous. When the tide is out I enjoyed walking out hundreds of meters with herons, gulls, cormorants and pelicans. Room is very basic and very clean. The onsite restaurant, Matilde, is the best in town. Friendly and tasty. Very relaxing stay.

No pets allowed in room, but pets allowed in restaurant… odd Unique location , right on the beach. Yet San Felipe as destination is not worth staying more than one night.

We loved that the location was right on the beach and that the area on the beach was set up so nicely! We also enjoyed the fact that we could walk along the beach to the Malecon from Stella del Mar. We had a very relaxing visit! Thank you!

The Stella is my Go To un San Felipe after trying many others. ON the beach! Restaurant & bar awe awesome! Rooms are good and spotless. AC - great! Parking and a night guard - very secure. Great job amigos!

For Baja, it was excellent. I loved that the beach was two steps away as well as the palapa and the restaurant. I thought at $200/night it was overpriced considering the only chair inside the room to look out at the beach was a folding chair. Otherwise great location and services.

Nice white sand beach with calm waters to swim. Staff was very nice, food was decent. Rooms could use some minor maintenance and upgrades. Property grounds were very clean and nice.

Its a good place to stay, good access to ice, drinks, and food. They should be pet friendly, as long as people pick up after their pets. Good food, decent price, if you'd like, bring your own. Not big but big enough for a family of 4 to 5. Make sure when you check in look for warnings signs, loads of stingrays.
