Disappointed to see how run down the hotel and area as a Bay Area resident. No valet available so parking was a little scary. No room service but they do have a 24hr store opened. Unfortunately a lot of homeless outside hotel. I was only there for a few days and had higher expectations of this brand of hotels.

Beautiful roof top view of the city with high priced food and drink, and poor variety of food. Over-priced parking! $70/night. Unsafe and filthy area outside of hotel along sidewalks to get to the Hilton Parking Garage, or go sight seeing. Hilton should provide safe free shuttle service at those fees.

I liked the location which was close to a lot of city’s attractions including China Town and Civic Center. I also enjoyed Cityscape Sky Bar on the hotel’s 46th floor which provided a 360-degree view of downtown. My only gripe was the $35 MANDATORY “destination fee” which you could use toward food and drink at the hotel. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my 6-day stay at Hilton.

We checked in and were informed there was an extra $35 per day amenity fee. This was not included in what we paid with Expedia. We were told that spending money at their market would come out of the fee. This was not true and we ended up being charged almost $150 more than what we paid initially. Will not stay here again due to deceptive business practices
