I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Grove Inn. The front desk agent was friendly and courteous, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. My room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. I especially appreciated that it’s a small hotel with only a few rooms, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The area felt safe, walkable, and very pleasant. I only wish I had been able to stay longer, but I will absolutely be booking again in the future.

I had a great stay! Was a solo female traveler on business, and the hotel felt very safe to stay in. It’s right next to the 22 bus which takes you all across the city. Overall The Grove was a great stay. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean/comfortable & their check in/check out is simple. I appreciate that they offer luggage drop off & they also had our room ready a hour sooner than check in. Street parking is difficult to find but I was able to get a spot after doing some loops. I would stay here for my next visit.

The Grove Inn was a comfortable and convenient stay. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and I slept extremely well. The location was easy to access and worked well for my plans in San Francisco. That said, the overall feel was more simple than elegant, and there was a noticeable room odor that detracted from the experience. While it was perfectly fine for a short stay, it didn’t quite match the ‘boutique’ feel suggested in some reviews. Overall, a decent option if comfort and location are your priorities.
