We have been to this property more than a dozen times since we have a timeshare there. Normally it is a nice quiet stay but this time we had some severe party animals in the unit across the hall that were screaming and yelling at the top of their voices from about 8-10:30 PM when I think security came and read them the riot act. We were thankful that we were there for only 2 nights at the end of our total 29 day trip.
Other than that it is a good location and comfortable for us. It is not on a beach but the resort is literally surrounded by a golf course so it is quiet location with easy access to shopping, restaurants (resort has a good restaurant on site too) and good walking routes.
We loved our stay at Park Royal. It's a great little resort in a good location-- mostly quiet, near the beaches but not on the "Hotel Strip" directly, and near plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. Far less touristy than San Lucas. All the hotel staff are great and very helpful.
Only (minor) issue is we were charged an additional fee upon arrival. It wasn't much, around $40, but a little frustrating that it wasn't in the Vrbo description.
Very disappointed with the shower and the pressure of the water. The adjoining room was a problem. We could hear everything and that's very discomforting.
Please make sure upon your stay to ask to change to a non-adjoining room with other strangers. We could have unlocked the door and opened to their room. Marks taken away for safety and security. Plus an extremely loud television to our wake up was not a plus whatsoever.
HOWEVER, the best Mojito on our entire 10 day road trip across Sur Baja - the complimentary drink upon check-in. Surprisingly! Was wonderful.
The pool, great.
The bartender, the servers and kitchen staff all inviting and friendly!
The breakfast also very delicious!!!
