The hotel needs some renovations. We had a very nice room, but it lacked any technological advantages like the usb outlets working, a bathroom fan, radio outlets that work on a new iPhone or a good music stereo/alarm, shower that got warmer than lukewarm, etc. There’s also a lack of privacy with their front windows that don’t have covers or shades and people can look in at any time.
The view from our oceanfront room was gorgeous but the beach was too dangerous for anyone to be permitted in the water unless walking to the neighboring hotel.
We got really messed over by their charter service when we arrived. If you choose to book with them, don’t bother emailing because they won’t respond until the time is up to make a reservation (no less than 24 hrs isn’t going to work). And watch out at the airport because you can get sucked into none timeshare presentations when you just need a ride to your hotel. It’s not only in the first room, but second room after that too.
The gym was on the smaller side but had a good selection of weights, machines, treadmills, etc. it was clean too.
The spa treatments we had (scrub and massage) were nice. The spa center itself needs upgrades. The locker room isn’t great and the waiting area with spa/pool is just ok.
