Location was good, John was amazing, very personable and accommodating. The view was phenomenal, housekeeping cleaned the room well. There was a portable heater provided because there is no in room heater. The breaker tripped while getting ready the 1st day during business hours. Unfortunately it tripped again the evening of the second day at 7p after turning on the heater. We reached out in person and by phone unsuccessfully to get ahold of anyone on call for an after hour emergency. The room had no power at all so we ended up packing and paying for another hotel room elsewhere after 30 minutes of trying to reach someone.

The office staff was very kind! There's a great view, a nice sitting area in front of the hotel, and it's near some excellent restaurants. The rooms are uniquely and tastefully decorated, clean, and I was comfortable. It was a bit noisy at times but tolerably so. I would stay here again!

My stay was an alright experience overall. The manager was very nice and friendly, and check-in was easy and quick. The manager also gave us a guest parking pass, which allowed us to park anywhere, and we received free cinnamon bun rolls from Frankie and Lola’s Front Street Café next door — I definitely recommend eating there for breakfast! The room itself was decent but could use some updates. We noticed damage to the wall, cracked shower tiles, a small hole under the bathroom mirror, and a broken restroom door handle. The AC and fan were also dusty. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear conversations from other guests. The bed was very uncomfortable. That said, the room felt cozy, and I understand the quality given that the price was cheap. The hotel’s location was a big plus — it’s within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants, so we were able to walk instead of drive. Overall, it’s a 50/50 experience. I might stay again, mainly for the location and price.
