Check in wasn’t til 3 , I booked online in advance and talked to the hotel earlier that week in regards to paying with 2 separate cards when I got there Friday. That morning I Received a phone call at 8am regarding my stay that day. They informed me that if I didn’t come in at 11am they would give my rooms away. (Wrestling tournament that weekend, we were driving over there from 3 hours away when they called) because they were fully booked that weekend and wanted to give my rooms out. We got there at 9, no one was at the window and they had the doors locked with a chain. I called the number on the paper for service and as soon as the lady came to the window she rudely stated that if I was the one calling to hang up. The room was okay I wasn’t expecting much as we got the rooms for a steal considering we were right across the street from the high school. There was stains on the ceilings , on the lamp shades that they turned around and the mirror in the room was dirty with toothpaste. If the whole city wasn’t fully booked and 3x the price for the annual tournament weekend I would of complained and went somewhere else

Buildings were pet friendly, but no good spot outside to take pets to relieve themselves. Only 1 room key offered per room. No breakfast offered. Beds were made but floor looked like it still needed vacuuming.

HEADS UP - YOU CANNOT BOOK PAY AT THE PROPERTY....EVEN IF YOU DO. she will charge your card BEFORE YOUR STAY, tell you hotels.com charged it (which they don't and never have) and is rude. Layers of dust around the edges of the carpet and they have the merve to leave an envelope on the TV stand for you to TIP the maintenance staff....stop it. Motel 6 next door is better!

Friendly staff but the rooms need cleaning/painting. The table we had was falling apart and was already jerry-rigged with screws in a very obvious way. Furniture and appliances were old and need replacement, the shower barely worked. Positives were the close proximity to the ocean, sites, and food.

The room and bathroom were clean and the housekeeper was very helpful and friendly. However, I requested a room downstairs, due to a recent injury, and I was told in an email that I would be given a room on the first floor since the hotel doesn’t have an elevator. We checked in around 8pm and all they had for us was a room upstairs. Not happy. The room description included a patio or “balcony”, but the balcony was so tiny you couldn’t even fit one chair on it. We were given a room with a vinyl futon “bed”, but they didn’t provide any bedding for it. When we asked at the front desk, we were told they didn’t have any extra sheets! What kind of a hotel doesn’t have sheets??!! Instead they gave us one very thin, stained blanket, which obviously no one wanted to use. The beds had worn out mattress toppers that were higher in the middle and sagging on the sides, so we were constantly trying to keep ourselves from rolling off the bed. The bathroom light fixture was loose and hanging from the ceiling. And twice we had to go down the stairs to the front desk to reprogram our keys because they wouldn’t open the door. The walls were thin enough to hear the conversation next door, which went on late into the night, so nobody slept well. We will never stay at this hotel again.
