Overall loved our stay. Very clean and comfortable 1 bedroom apt. We would stay again. As it was our Anniversary we didn't cook but the kitchen appeared to have everything that's needed. We used the apt as a base to ride our bikes and relax. Only thing I thought would be good to mention is if you tend to sleep in, you will get a wake up call between 6:30-6:45am from a child in the home upstairs who wakes up unhappy (don't blame the kid, I'm not a morning person either :) Parents clearly tried to calm them as quickly as possible. Other than that pictures are accurate and everything else was lovely.
Great place for quiet family getaway. Can hear some footsteps and noise from upstairs but nothing loud. Great family friendly location. Host was very kind, brought extra blankets and very responsive.
This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this property. Iris and Family are lovely! I have Family in the area, which is why I go often. But I can get away to this lovely cozy sanctuary. I will continue to book.
We stayed at this cute cottage while we had our hardwood floors installed. Couldnât have been more perfect since, itâs in my childrenâs school district. It was clean, quiet and perfect for what we needed. I recommend this rental.
This is the second time I have stayed at this property! Super close to my family in the area. A lovely place to stay close to everything! Hosts are AMAZING!
Iris and Ary are lovely! Their cozy oasis was the perfect fit for me. I have family in the area and this was a perfect retreat to get away and have some alone time. I was able to work remotely without incident. Great quiet neighborhood, near all things San Rafael. Great location. I will continue to book with Iris and Ary when visiting Family!
Here are the pros and cons from my experience:
Pros:
- Iris, the property manager was very good at communications. She was very prompt in returning emails. In addition, she was very accommodating.
- The rental was centrally located to everything.
Cons:
- Iâm very noise sensitive and there was no sound deafening insulation between the house and rental. I could hear a baby screaming and crying. I will have to say that they would move the baby to the back of the house, so it would be less noisy. I could hear them walking around. Occasionally someone would drop something that made a large noise.
These are suggestions and recommendations that I gave to Iris, the property manager that would make this rental better:
1. A light above the mirror in the bathroom.
2. Shelving above the toilet.
3. A hand towel ring on the wall to the right of in the sink.
4. Microwave in the kitchen.
5. A coffee table in front of the couch.
6. A nightstand and light next to the bed.
7. Adding a top sheet on the bed.
