No Old Motel Smell

So far as motels go, Motel 6 is a great place to stay. It was somewhat updated (e.g., no carpets) and didn't have that old motel smell. The location is a short distance from shops and restaurants. The clerk who checked us in was courteous and efficient.

Sure they have hourly and weekly rates, that kind of place. Staff was nice enough, and when I left at 5am believe I saw 24 hour security, which was reassuring, but next time I'll stay a bit further off the highway, probably in Mill Valley.
