This property offered a great water view and plenty of space, which made it perfect for our group of eight to stay comfortably. While the home hasn’t had many updates since it was originally built, we actually found that added to its charm. The backyard could use a bit of landscaping and cleanup, but the outdoor seating was great—we enjoyed appetizers out there and even did some fishing off the dock. One downside was that the master bathroom didn’t have hot water, though the other three bathrooms did, so it wasn’t a major issue for us. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedding was exceptionally clean. The host was also wonderful—very responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything. We had a little delay getting acces information, but once we called him, it all worked out. We were told chdckout would be 10, but after we asked for and extra hour he was kind and extended it. The home is located in a lively neighborhood, which we found to be kind of cool. On Friday night, there were a lot of street vendors set up on the street nearby, and we found some delicious, authentic Mexican food just around the corner on Canal Street. That was definitely a cool bonus!
