Excellent stay in San Simeon. The condo is right on the water. You can hear the waves crashing at night. The place was very clean and plenty of room for 3 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The only complaints we have is having to use a key and a front door that auto locks and not having a code to unlock the door. We locked ourselves out one time. Also we arrived at night and trying to figure out how to get through the doors/garage to the actual unit was confusing. And lastly, the lighting in the common area is terrible. We would love to come back, but as funny as it sounds, Iâd bring a lamp or two. Despite the minor critiques, we would love to stay here again.
The property is in a good condition but there were no shampoos and conditioners so we had to get them in near by minimart. Other than that it was a great stay.
I would say our stay on this property was fantastic! #1 was the response and concern of the property manager, Jackie! We had the internet go down and she tried to find a solution on the phone but when that did not work, she came to the property and fixed it! That meant a lot to us! The property is located on cliffs above the Pacific! It had a 180 degree view of the ocean! This property is a 4 plex - I never heard the neighbors! The rooms and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked! We did not eat out and cooked all meals on the property. I definitely recommend this property. It is very close to Hearst Castle.
This 2 bd 2 ba condo has everything needed to comfortably house a couple with two additional people. The Master bd has a queen sized bed and attached bathroom. The other room has 2 single beds, and there is a bathroom in the hall. The kitchen, living and dining areas are very nice and the view of the ocean is unbeatable. The unit we stayed in was on the second floor and had a deck with a bbq, on a small bluff above the beach. We had no issues and found everything to be in good working order and were very satisfied with the two nights we spent there. I would go back.
Loved the views, sound of the ocean, location and convenience. It was very comfortable and nice furnishings. They need a new sliding door to the patio (very hard to open) and there were mice scratching in the front bedroom at nightđł. The toilet was was not secure to the floor in the front bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
This house was a perfect little getaway. It's close enough to Cambria to go into town and get groceries, but far enough that you aren't running in the the crowd of people at Moonstone Beach. The elephant seals are a short drive away, along with Hearst Castle. I sat and watched and listened to the waves of the ocean. I would definitely rent this place again.
One thing to note is that the key that opens the building to the hallway with 4 units is the same key that opens the actual unit. Not really sure why that is??
Wonderful, comfortable house. Beautiful sunset and easy access to walking/jogging trails. Breen property management was very accommodating since we were delayed getting to our vacation due to a snow storm. It was a much needed escape!
- first day walked in to condo found a dirty swiffer sitting on bed
- kitchen counter not clean crumbs everywhere
- ANTS! ANTS! ANTS! Everywhere! Found some even on the toilet paper
- Advertised as âstrikingâ viewâŠbut couldnât see it due to filthy windows on slider and window next to it! Had to clean!
- Sink in guest bathroom was cloggedâŠtold maintenance man who was there for the tv but never got fixed
-Couldnât get front tv to work office didnât send anyone till next day (simple fix)
-Never got rid of antsâŠlast day they were all over living room wall!
** Too many issues paid good money not to be able to relax**
The floor was not clean when we arrived but after a quick once over with broom and sanitary wipes it was very homey. View was stunning with beautiful sunset every evening.
A spectacular property with a stunning oceanfront view. Home was updated and very clean.
It would be nice to let renters know that the beach access is down a steep, unpathed route. There are no stairs. That made getting things to and from challenging for an oceanfront home. Stairs would certainly be nice. It would also be helpful to let people know there is a Q pullout sofa, so actually, it can sleep 6.
This is perhaps the best possible location just south of Big Sur, and the views and the beach access are fantastic, especially with social distancing this is the ideal spot.
This is a great place for oceanfront lodging. We have stayed at most of the motels in San Simeon, and this is the best place we have stayed by far. There are some items that we would suggest to make it even better.
1. Provide some cover, like an umbrella for the deck. The sun can get hot on a summer afternoon.
2. Fix the patio sliding door, itâs very difficult to open and close.
3. While not sure if anything can be done about this, but the cable and internet service was not good. It would regularly slow down, and multiple TV channels would go dark. Itâs probably the cable provider, but be aware.
Overall, great place, loved it, and we will be back in the future. Also, we left a special gift with your otter.
