Glad to stay, hotel soon to be torn down for condos. If you want to go, get going. Waterfront on best beach And a bald eagle lives there too

The location is the only redeeming characteristic of this property, and it is indeed a striking quality. So much so that I’d likely stay there again (holding my nose, and ignoring the condition of the facility). (I did not interact with the service team so no input on that).

Horribly outdated. Smelled and looked like a great grandparent’s home. Very hot. Only box A/C. Microscopic bathroom. Antique furniture. Great views. Like staying on Titanic.

Property is tired and in need of a complete makeover. It’s in such a great location that it could be awesome but unfortunately it’s not! In addition, cleanliness of the rooms and buildings wasn’t great. It was very walkable to the City Beach and town which was the best thing about the property!

Nice area but very dated. Our toilet had to be flushed 3-4 times every time it was used. Would’ve requested a different room but we were too tired to go through the trouble. Person at the desk was nice when we checked in.

This property was amazing. Well worth the money. Staff is extremely helpful. Restaurants all around and a large safe parking lot at the hotel for your vehicle. Very clean beach. Fun amenities offered like bikes, paddle boards, and smore kits. Absolutely 10/10, would travel just to stay in this hotel again.

House keeping, desk, person who was in charge of breakfast were all incredibly sweet and helpful. I know bldg will be torn down in August and understand since there is no elevator or AC in halls. I hope the new owners have as nice a staff as this one since they made up for any renovations needed,

The view from the room was amazing! As for the hotel, it’s old and outdated. The A/C in the room is noisy so it’s hard to sleep. The weight machine was broken. The hot tub was hot only 1 day out of the 4 days we were there, the rest of the time it was either empty or warm at best. Apparently they are going to tear it down and build a new hotel so they’re not investing into this one. Overall it was fine, it’s not like we were spending our whole day there, it’s better to enjoy the town of Sandpoint anyway. The staff was excellent though, they made the stay better.
