WOW!!! This place is amazing! To date, the newest, cleanest and best run VRBO weâve EVERY stayed in! Plenty of âlittle thingsâ too such as soaps at all sinks and bathrooms, laundry, matching cookware, etc. (I know these things are kinda to be expected, butâŠ.are they? ) Even communicated with the hosts for an early check in which they communicated quickly back to facilitate. If youâre renting in this beautiful region, THIS is the place to stay!
Exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you might need-great view-saw a moose in the river while sitting on the deck! Tough golf course but beautiful scenery- Pack river General Store great for lunch -it was very convenient to the wedding venue we were attending-would highly recommend this property!
Ultimately we were very happy in every way with our stay at this Vrbo located in the Idaho Club area outside sandpoint except for 2 items which were minor--to us. We would rent this property again. The only 2 nitpicks i would mention were that the power to the entire area went out 2 times during our 1 week long stay--though the second time was as we were leaving and was minimally impactful. The neighboring house to the property we were renting had a generator that kicked on automatically, it would be ideal if this property had the same if this is a common situation in this area.. And for the second item i would suggest the listing encourages a 4x4 or other suitable vehicle for driving when snow is expected or increase the frequency of road plowing. Since Schweitzer Mtn opens lifts at 9:30, renters in this area will be leaving the area at 8:30 or so--and that seems to be before the morning plowing occurs. The neighborhood and the primary road that connects to the highway doesn't get the same frequency of plowing/sand/deicing as the highway to sandpoint. We did plan ahead and rented a 4x4 Jeep for the trip-- and this came to be very useful for its 4x4 low as we became stuck on the primary road that connects this neighborhood to the highway after moving over for an oncoming plow and sliding into a low spot of the side of the road when there was a fresh overnight snowfall and we were leaving the property at 9am. 4x4 was critical to get us back on the road surface.
The house was exactly as advertised, rooms were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and we had a good time. Only draw backs were the lack of water pressure in the showers and itâs about 40 minutes from the house to the top of Schweitzer mountain. Overall nice place.
