We loved our stay in Sandpoint. I hadnât been up in a decade but used to live in the Panhandle and the location was perfect for us. We walked to the beach multiple times and loved how accessible everything is from the cottage. And the cottage itself is beautiful! We had a great time and would highly recommend this place.
Summertime. My wife and I brought our daughter and her two friends to stay for 3 nights and explore Sandpoint/Silverwood park. This place was very clean and updated. Jo Annâs communication and hospitality was an A. We would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.
Cottage is adorable. The sofa pullout was really comfortable. It was clean and very convenient to all of the adventures around the area. Would stay again gladly.
The stay was just what was advertised. There was some local neighborhood noise, but very peaceful. I would absolutely (and likely will) stay here, again. Quick and easy.
This little cottage was better than we imagined. Perfectly sized, super clean and Jo Ann welcomed us with a plate of cowboy cookies on the counter. With a fridge, microwave and gas oven. We were able to prepare all of our meals at the cottage which saved us a lot vs dining out. We used the cottage to recreate with 5 days skiing Schweitzer Mountain. Will be looking to rent this little cottage next year if its available.
Great location for exploring Sandpoint. Everything less than 10 min away. Plenty of room for 2 people. Only slight negative was the Wi-Fi was a little slow.
First off JoAnn is an excellent host. JoAnn even stopped by with homemade scones which were wonderful!
The reservation/check-in process was seamless.
The property exceeded our expectations. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C was a plus for late July when the temps were hovering at 100 degrees. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. WiFi was excellent. Really cute cottage and well appointed. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to walk to the downtown shops, Farmer Market, restaurants, City Beach and parks.
Excellent for a couple.
This property has reasonable walking distance to most things you would want to do. BBQ, full kitchen for eating in. The property stayed cool and has a friendly orange neighbor cat that will only say hi if invited.
We really enjoyed our stay in Sandpoint at St. Clair cottage. The neighborhood was quiet but close to the waterfront and shopping. Jo Ann was a great host who responded immediately to any questions. Her apt. was clean and well stocked with the essentials plus extras including washer and dryer, beach chairs/towels and BBQ grill. We would definitely stay there again!
Really fun town, good food, friendly people and excellent winter recreation. Knowing we could come home after playing in the mountains to a clean and comfortable place made for a better experience.
Our host was very friendly, responsive and happy.
loved my stay. Jo was very responsive to my questions and needs. She brought the best c cookies and granola and even sent the recipe. Only one think was missing for me and maybe because I am older and have one eye, I needed a floor lamp in the living room and maybe brighter lights over the dinning table, otherwise it was perfect.
If you are looking for a cozy, quiet and honey destination, this place is it! Tucked away in a perfect little neighborhood. Tastefully decorated and everything you need. We will definitely stay again when visiting Sandpoint!
My spouse and I were in Sandpoint for the first time. We spent four four perfect nights at this wonderful property.
Though Iâm not what youâd call an avid traveler, Iâve stayed at a number of short term rentals over the years. This was far and away the most enjoyable stay Iâve ever experienced. Iâd like to give it six stars. This one goes to six!
Our stay was great. Everything we needed was there. The cottage is not large but felt big. The loft and patio are great places to hang out in addition to the living room. Summer in Sandpoint is hard to beat!!!
Looking forward to staying again! Due to a hiking accident trip was not as long as planned. Our host went out of her way to help us through a very difficult time. Sincerely looking forward to our next visit, the location and accommodation was perfect for some much needed R&R.
This sweet little cottage is a gem! It it really well cared for and clean. The beds are comfortable, the appliances/cookware are high quality. It was easy to access and we had a lot of privacy. This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. We are from Sandpoint and our family is still there and can confidently say it is excellent quality for the price. We would definitely stay here again.
This property was wonderful. I am so glad we selected this "in town" location rather than more scenic locations in the countryside. The rental was clean, modern, and very comfortable and located in a quiet well kept neighborhood.
It was the perfect launch/landing spot for our day excursions in the Idaho panhandle (a cruise on Lake Pend Oreille and a driving loop to Myrtle Falls & the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge at Bonners Ferry and then on to Kootenai Falls & Suspension Bridge in Montana, then to Ross Ancient Cedars State Park, also in MT. The Saint Claire Cottage (a.k.a. Moose Lodge) is conveniently located in Sandpoint for either a short three-minute drive or a 15 minute walk to the tourist area downtown.
The hostess, Jo Ann, was excellent and timely with her all of her communications. I HIGHLY recommend this property.
This property is impressively clean, exceptionally well-appointed and a great location. A short 8 minute walk to downtown Sandpoint, and an easy drive to Schweitzer, makes this a great get-away. There is a loft for small children, but we found it absolutely perfect for two people.
We'll be back!!
Excellent accommodations in Sandpoint. Host was easily accessible. Great location to walk to town. Nice fireplace to warm our ski gear by. Definitely recommend.
