Our stay at The Edge exceeded every expectation. The views are somehow even more breathtaking in person — the photos truly don’t do them justice. From sunrise over Lake Pend Oreille to the evening glow on Schweitzer and the Selkirks, every window feels like a postcard. The home itself feels like a private Ritz-Carlton retreat. Every finish, furnishing, and detail was thoughtfully designed with luxury and comfort in mind. The fully stocked chef’s kitchen is equally impressive, featuring high-end appliances, premium cookware, and every utensil thoughtfully provided to make cooking and gathering feel effortless. The Nespresso machine combined with the De'Longhi drip coffee maker made for a superb coffee bar. Despite how stunning the surrounding area is, we constantly found ourselves wanting to get back to the house as quickly as possible just to relax and enjoy the space.What really sets The Edge apart is how spacious and calming it feels. There are so many comfortable areas to spread out, unwind, reconnect, or simply recharge while still feeling cozy and inviting. Whether soaking in the hot tub at sunset, enjoying coffee with the panoramic views, or spending evenings together in the beautifully designed living spaces, the home creates an experience that is hard to leave behind. Our host, James, was incredibly responsive, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable We are thrilled to have found a place to call home whenever we visit the Sandpoint area.
