Great stay. Train ran about every 5 to 10 minutes. That was a little irritating but it doesn't take away for the property. Definitely will book again.

Trains run close to hotel. They run all night and are extremely noisy. The room was clean, except the ceiling. Someone had apparently took off their shoe and put prints on the ceiling. They were not cleaned off. There were no tables or stands to put luggage on. We had to put our things on the floor. There was only 1 small trash can for the room. There were no instructions for the Keurig machine and there was only sugar packs. No cream or other sweetener. The bathroom counter was too small and not level; any toiletries put there ended up on the floor.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were staying just one night so I wasn't looking for anything special. I would recommend staying and we will use the Explorer again. If I had to find one thing to improve, it would be the bathroom sink. It's a little on the miniature side!

The staff were so friendly and kind! Parking was easy, right in front of the room. Very close drive to Cedar Point. Comfortable beds and the room was very clean. The rooms are updated and have what you need -- coffee maker, fridge, microwave. Shared walls means you hear your neighbors if they are being loud, but no more than if you were staying at any other hotel. Overall, a really nice and comfortable stay.

The room was nice and clean, overall a good stay. Some minor details that could make the property superb… there was a LOT of bleed through noise from the other rooms. Other guests kept arriving late and the blinds weren’t effective at keeping the lights from disrupting our sleep. The bed was very much on the low side, which could be difficult for some people to get in or out of. My husband has rheumatoid arthritis and did struggle a bit getting in and out. Additionally, the bathroom door is oddly small…again my husband blasted his elbows at least three times going in and out (and he’s just an average sized man). Finally, parking is a bit inadequate, and a bit cramped. All in all, an above average stay in a clean well maintained environment. But just because the competition is a 4, it doesn’t make Explorer a 9.

Stayed in the family cabin for 8. Beds were very comfortable, slept great. 2 full bathroom were perfect for 2 families. Price was just right. Room js basic but good for a night or 2 when you’re at the park all day. The chairs show some wear and probably need to be replaced bc of staining on the light color upholstery. There was a hair clump in the shower when we arrived that was obviously not ours, but wasn’t a huge deal for us, we didn’t use the shower bc we were there for 10 hr total. Walls are thin and the train runs all night. Wasn’t a problem for us, we use white noise app on our phones to sleep normally. Room 50 is its own building so you only hear ur family through the thin walls. We will definitely be back since the value for the good night sleep in a comfy bed are worth it.

The stay was just okay. I wanted to like it more but there were some issues. The sink was slanting off the wall in a way that made everything fall off. The shower leaked badly. I’m pretty sure there is lingering water damage hiding under the floor because the room smelled mildew-ish. There is unfinished wood everywhere that is cute but also dirty looking. We ended up leaving early. Also room had spiderwebs hanging and dead bugs hanging above the door.

Close and great with the family.

Room was clean, air conditioning worked well, streaming on the TV, cute updates and comfortable beds. Our door lock was busted Parking was a free for all and angled which made it harder for several of our neighbors. Parking spots could be bigger keeping in mind family vehicles by the family rooms and maybe numbered??
