Great location! Walkable to State Street, beach/pier, and funk zone. Property manager made check in/check out super easy. Overall wonderful experience!
Lovely location and property! The home is small, but the outdoor area added a lot of extra space and was a great place to spend time. Very close to State Street and reasonable walk to beaches. Street parking wasnât too much of an issue, we were always able to find somewhere within a block or two. Gave it four stars instead of five because it was missing some things that wouldâve made it more comfortable for our week-long stay for six people; more towels, trash bags, more kitchen essentials, etc. Otherwise great and would highly recommend!
From initial comms with us to checkout, this was an outstanding bungalow stay for our daughter's wedding weekend. Virandra was a gracious host, answered any questions we had. Compact yet enough space for our adult family. Great covered patio in the rear, and sunny seating in front. 5 minute walk to State street and 20 min walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here next time in Santa Barbara!
This property can comfortably hold six adults who are spending most of the time walking around town. The amenities are great and it is in a very convenient location. The host is extremely responsive and kind. One of the better places I've stayed!
Great place and Location but no designated parking
This place is located close to State street. We were able to walk to the Funk zone, the beach and all over State Street. There are electric bikes right across the street which are very convenient. The place is clean, and looks just as pictured. We enjoyed our stay.I did not give it a 5 because there is no onsite parking, which I was not aware of based on the description of the place. Itâs street parking only and the local residents keep the streets full with their own cars. IF I had known before hand I would give it a 5 rating because I would had planned for the lack of parking. We did find parking the first night right across the street but we had to move the cars before 9am due to street cleaning.I ended up parking in the public parking lot 3 blocks down, which does have overnight parking.
Pros: the location is excellent, being walking distance to State St and tons of popular spots. The host was very responsive. Overall good valueCons: the beds were not very comfy. Wifi kept going out. Showers were pretty small and it was unclear which was soap/shampoo as they were unlabeled.
The house was just as described and very clean. The hosts communicated well, easy check in. There was some traffic on the street on the weekend nights but didnât bother us and weâd definitely recommend this cute house for a family getaway.
A nice house in a beautiful location. A local Mom&Pop store next door was convenient. We walked to State Street. The Location was near Everything! And if we didnt want to walk or move our car to avoid losing our street parking, local ebikes were nearby. Thank you for sharing your home with us!local ebikes were available nearby rent
Myself and two roommates from UCSB 20yrs ago were having amemorial trip for a 4th roommate who passed away recently. We were just looking for something downtown close to everything where each of the 3 of us could have our own bed. This property fit the bill perfectly. Each of us had our own room and a queen sized bed which was ideal. The kitchen and living room area are not huge but for the small amount of hours we spent in there in the evenings it was still plenty of room for us. Comunications from the property manager as far as check in goes were fantastic. They even proactively asked me if I needed an early check in which was fantastic. The home was incredibly clean upon our arrival and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great location as far as being close to State St. and all it has to offer. Parking is an issue. The barking dogs next door were a little irritating. No oven was not a problem for us but might be for someone else. This is an older house that shows its age.
This house was in a great location, walkable to State St and the Funk Zone. Could be a little noisy at night, but expected in a busy location. The host communicated well and was very accommodating.
This property was an excellent location for our weekend needs. Parking is a bit difficult, but we only had one vehicle, so it wasnât too bad. We were able to find street parking within 1 1/2 blocks. The house is small, but was fine as a base of operations for the wedding festivities.
Basic supplies were adequate. It would be good to label the soap/ shampoo dispensers however.
We would book here again.
Very clean, good location, parking difficult but not the fault of the owners. The only suggested improvement would be to improve wifi, it is poor. I used my cellular which was also pretty poor.
The house was clean, and stocked with everything we needed for a weekend stay!
The location was great; We could walk to the amazing shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and more!
Black mold covered tarp in back area. Area needs additional trimming. Questionable safety of electrical wiring. Should be warning about many steps up to front door. Safety issue for anyone with walking or balance issues, or elderly folks. Inside clean and comfortable.
We booked this stay as a group of 5 for a wedding weekend in Santa Barbara and it was perfect for everything we needed. The location can't be beat, as it's walking distance to downtown and the beach.
