We got the handicap room. While the shower itself was great, the curtain was inadequate. It bowed outward leaving the curtain exposing the floor. Impossible not to get the floor wet and slippery. A real safety hazard

It was very clean, had nice decor with the added convenience of being within walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. The best Motel 6 I've stayed in. Definitely would stay here again.

They were a bit lost with my second day reservation at the motel. An a bit rude but after they discover the error wasn’t my they were berry polite an every ting was smooth and happy.

The location is walkable to downtown SB. One block and you are the beach. The staff is NOT friendly. They do the bare minimum. The manager/owner of the property banks on the location and tourists. I had to ask many times for the Expedia VIP amenity. I finally bought a bottle of wine and gave them the receipt. Upon check-out they gave me the cheapest bottle of wine. Basically stay at the hotel for the location, don't ask for anything because they will not help you.

False advertisement These rooms are not ocean view as advertised. There are series of other hotels in front of motel 6 blocking the view. You will not be getting what you are paying for with this motel. The first room I was assigned had no towels & had taco bell trash still in trash can. The gentleman at the front desk was able to upgrade me to different room that was prepared for guests. The interior for these rooms are very comfortable and well decorated. Microwave was not clean though. Everything else was clean in that room. Location is very walkable. I’m not hating on this motel. But, when a customer pay for something, they expect to get what they payed for.

The property claim a beach view but not really the case. The room is super small even being a double bed room. The vending machine is outrageously over priced. Parking is small and not easy. The USB ports did not work to charge phones. Also ice machine does not work without room key. Shower was ok nice and hot water.
