loved everything about this hotel. Loved the parking area.provided The pool and grounds were nicely maintained. The grand suite we stayed in was roomy and the bed was super comfortable. Dog friendly and staff was very nice and helpful

Super close to the beach, only about a 3 minute walk. Awesome places to each near by and cool things to explore. Room was a little underwhelming but was ok. Not very sound proof.

Great stay!

After reading other reviews, I was a little nervous about picking this hotel. Everything turned out fine. Whatever construction had been happening is finished. We had no water pressure issues. The room was a little worn in spots, but clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat. A two-block walk to the beach and 30 minutes to the wharf. It is in a sweet, quiet neighborhood away from some of the hubbub. Is to get to by car and ample parking on site.

near the beach Santa Barbara

The first room we were given wasn't clean or ready for us. it was a very small room with just a bed and television. This was the room for the special rate, having second thoughts about using your special rates in the future.

The beds were uncomfortable, only two sets of towels for 4 people, the bathroom window was cracked, a wax of hair was on the bathroom floor when we got there, and the chairs looked dirty. this place is in a safe area but this hotel is just a barely renovated old motel advertised as an upscale type hotel. We could hear every noise possible through the walls.

We definitely enjoyed the fact that it was so convenient to walk to the beach with our doggy. Room was small but comfortable. We did not however enjoy the fact that we were downstairs. You can hear all the noise coming from upstairs apartment. Check-in was wonderful! Receptionist Naomi was helpful in giving information about the area and even if we wanted to overnight charge our EV. Tuesday morning’s receptionist was also excellent! She was in the middle of baking more muffins so she gave us the yogurt first and told me the time to come back when the muffins will be ready! Wednesday's receptionist was not the best! Not only was she not informative about breakfast items but I felt as if she didn’t understand what I was saying! First I thought she said she had no breakfast then when I asked “so, no yogurt.” She said “oh, we have yogurt.” Same with the muffins. It shouldnt have to be that hard! Then when I asked for a copy of my statement she said since it booked through a third party she couldn’t provide me a statement; I would have to get it from the third party. I have booked through Hotels.com before, and this is the first time I’ve heard that reasoning! Is it correct?

It was our first time visiting Santa Barbara and first stay at Pacific Crest Hotel. This was a last minute trip and we were pleasantly surprised on how nice and welcoming this hotel was to our family and how close it was to the beach. We will definitely visit again with more time to spend.
