Overall my family had a great experience in Santa Fe staying in this unit. We walked into town via the "Cross of the Martyrs" trail and found it convenient and fun. If you are not in pretty good shape walking back to the unit uphill at 7k feet or so will be challenging. The unit was clean and comfortable and had very nice views. Communication with the property manager was excellent. She set us up with lots of information and even mailed some visitor brochures prior to us leaving for our trip. The pool and spa were in great shape. Some other reviews stated the pool is permanently closed, that is not the case. Another negative I read was taking the garbage out at the end of the trip, this was not difficult. I threw everything in our car and ran it around the corner and was back in less than 5 minutes. The only downsides to the property were the pool closed at 5 p.m. which was a little early for our family. Also, there were essentially zero cooking amenities that you might often find at properties like this. For example spices, cooking oil, things like that that others may leave behind for the next guests. There was however a great selection of dishes and coffee filters and ice in the freezer.
Overall we would definitely stay at this property again! Some of our favorite restaurants were The Cowgirl, (happy hour with live music from 3-6), Marias, The Shed, and Tomasitos (I think that is the spelling). Our highlight of the trip was a day spent at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs.
