I was prepared for possible trouble with the digital door lock per prior reviews, but I got in like a charm every time I tried. Quiet place just 3-4 blocks from the Plaza or Canyon Road which was my interest. The place is outfitted consistent with the Spanish/Mexican history of Santa Fe and very comfortable. Well outfitted kitchen with more appliances than I certainly needed. Comfortable TV/ living room area with large TV. Great respite from museum and gallery visits.
The property was immaculate. Very well appointed and very well supplied. Wonderful neighborhood, walk to plaza, restaurants, galleries.
Hereâs the down side;
Arrived after dark. Lighting at the front door was off. Security lock did not work. Contacted the local managers and to make a very frustrating exchange worse, the person could not offer me speedy access. After hunting around in the dark for a half hour, I found the patio door to the house unlocked and gained entry. An hour later a man showed up and was able to provide me with a key.
I used the key the entire 6 days I was there. I was told that the security code had been changed so it should work (it did not because the problem was that the lock required a new battery, not a different code) I left the patio door unlocked whenever I was away since I had no confidence in the security lock. I worried that this left me vulnerable to a burglary, but all ended well.
We had a very nice time staying here in Santa Fe. The place was clean and reasonably well appointed. It's a nice easy walk to Old Town and the many shops and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
This is the first time we ever did this and it was an amazing excellent stay from booking to checking out! We had great communication on ever level and the pay process is safe and secure, too!
Our stay was fine. The instructions we were provided to enter the property were incorrect. We had to call Vascara to correct the problem. After that everything was fine.
This property is walkable to downtown, convenient for morning walks & afternoon shopping. While the space is small it met our requirements for 2 adults.
There was one problem that we ran into and that was understanding which casita was A and which was B. Peter arrived at night and it was terribly difficult to see. There needs to be a better description/navigation of how to enter the correct casita. If you've been traveling all day and you arrive in the dark, it needs to be spelled out more clearly.
Many positives at this property- Good location, walking distance to plaza, quiet neighborhood, close to a park with amazing views, good off street parking, clean unit, and excellent communication with property managers. We enjoyed our stay. Although we did have a problem finding the unit when we arrived late at night. We couldnât find unit âBâ and wandered around for awhile because it wasnât clearly labeled. And bring your own tea or ground coffee for the coffee maker in the morning.
