We had a late check-in, there is no staff on hand, there is no one to call, the heater in our room did not work. It was near freezing all night. They didn't care, they didn't do anything to help the situation or to rectify.

Santa Fe's little secret!

This property is a gem! Very quaint, fantastic service, a true breakfast chef, one of the most favorable breakfast's for the value we experienced! Fresh fruits, tasty home style cooked potatoes, fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh specialty breads, oatmeal, yogurt with all the sides you can imagine! Ashleigh is one of a kind at the check in area, a true hospitality sweetheart! The room was tastefully appointed for the type of property this is, true southwest motif, with some funky twists! Cozy, nice new split air conditioner, huge TV and VERY CLEAN! The courtyard in the rear had a fantastic garden and a quiet place to relax. Someone is a Master Gardener to plant and maintain the variety of flowers and bushes, truly artistic! We highly recommend The Mystic to your clients. We will return to Santa Fe and will only stay there!

The Mystic is a refurbished 1960s-era motel. The staff were great; breakfast was super-great; just be aware that on some evenings, the band plays beyond 10 pm, so if you wish to go to sleep early, then bring earplugs. If you go to sleep after 11 pm, then you’ll get to experience live music without paying a cover charge.

I liked that the property looked like whoever decorated it, had a personal interest. I'm always jealous to see how somebody can put everything together and make a flow. I'm an artist in many ways but have a really hard time getting it all to come together nicely. Continental breakfast was made fresh and had flavor. It was amazing. I had a hard time not eating everything. I also complimented the cook. My husband and I have a fascination with stopping at motor lodges. I always check for bugs and make sure the carpet doesn't feel gross. This place is amazing. Everything was perfect. Way beyond the 1950s nostalgic motor lodges, a bit of old and newly decorated. Love that they have live music in their Cafe attached to the front desk, but also a small concert venue outside in the back. It's everything I could possibly want.
