Amazing stay!

The property was very beautiful! The views were great as well as the surrounding neighborhood. Very close to the beach and the beach also had a small lake area for smaller kids to enjoy. 10/10

Incredible views and location

Our group had a fantastic stay. This home has all the benefits of beachfront without the hefty price. The location and views are incredible, particularly from the living room and 3rd floor bedrooms. The home is wonderfully updated and beautifully decorated. The built in bunk beds were super sturdy and extremely comfortable. They could easily accommodate full size adults. The new beach access right across the street was so convenient, allowing everyone to come and go as they please.We had a double red flag day, so the kids spent the entire day paddle boarding, fishing, and catching grabs in Oyster Lake. Local favorites like Stinky's and Shunk Gulley are just a short walk or bike ride away. This house made for a perfect beach trip, and we will definitely be back.

Perfect location!

The Heron at Oyster Lake was the perfect location for our family gathering. It was the best of both worlds. Close access to the gulf and right on the lake. The home itself was adequately stocked with essentials. The views were spectacular. It is located at the beginning of 30A so not in the middle of the chaos you get near Seaside and beyond. The home is close access to restaurants and shops and the occasional ice cream spot. The home came complete with paddleboards and beach gear. And the host was available to answer any and all questions. It is truly a gem!

Could have been better. Cockroaches, Wi-Fi not working, refrigerator ice machine broken etc.

Cockroaches, broken appliances, amenities not working, and overall cleanliness were all issues during our short stay. I assume just poor management. The good....pretty nice location although no good beach access but the lake works well, decorated nicely, paddle boards and beach equipment were all convenient.

Wonderful

Our stay was much needed for our family as we celebrated a birthday and a baby shower for my daughter. The sunset during the baby shower was absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better view. The house was very clean, perfect location and had everything we needed. Brian was wonderful to work with and so easy to get in touch with and always responded right away to our requests. We Would definitely stay again. Thank you Brian!! :)

The property was exactly as I expected it to be from the listing and my family had a wonderful time! The beach was an easy walk and very quiet this time of year. Everything we needed for the beach was provided and the paddleboards were a nice bonus.

Great long weekend stay

Had a great long weekend at the Heron. Great views along the lake and easy access to the beach. Made good use of the grill in the porch area and beach equipment that comes with the place including paddleboards. Brian was super informative and responds quickly.

Exactly what is needed!

If you are looking to stay
don’t hesitate! It has everything you need. It’s just a short walk to the beach and the views are awesome! It’s also close to Destin and all of the 30A communities, so there is never a dull moment. On the other hand. If you are looking for a more peaceful beach then you have that too (we drove into Destin and the beaches were so crowded!). Brian is awesome and responsive. Everything is as listed. Don’t hesitate on this one!

Absolutely amazing location

Loved our stay!. The home is perfectly located between the beach and Oyster Lake. My family had an amazing and relaxing time and got to enjoy all the amenities. The home comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy the area, including paddle boards for the lake and beach equipment to enjoy a day at the beach. The beds are comfortable and everyone really enjoyed the home. The information link was very useful and the first I have seen in my travels that was this good. I highly recommend this home and we look forward to staying here again.

Great location & Great owner

The owner did everything possible to make our stay a great one. Unfortunately for him the people that stayed before us did not respect the house. The cleaning crew spent four hours cleaning the place before we came inside. We arrived early, but it was great to hang out on the ground floor and relax. The lake was great for paddle boarding and the beach was a quick walk away. The AC was super cold and lots of stuff was walkable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The only thing to keep in mind is if you like to hang out on an elevated deck, this house has a small one that is comfortable for 4 or less people. That did not stop our fun, it is something that you need to know before going. My whole adult family highly recommends this great house.

Was a great place and location. The kids loved the lake and paddle boards. Our only down fall was it showed an extra bed in one of the king bedrooms and there wasn’t. Other then that everything was perfect.

Beautiful home and views

Absolutely loved our stay here! It was perfect for our 12 person girls weekend! Brian was super great with communicating! Oyster Lake was so beautiful to look at it, and easy access to the beach was a huge plus!! Overall it was a wonderful experience! They have lots of amenities as well, paddle boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and more!

Beautifully decorated home in great location

Communication with owner was exceptional. Brain provided several suggestions form different beach accesses, golf cart rentals and restaurants that was extremely helpful as it was our first time staying in Santa Rosa. TaCo30A was vey delicious! The home was very clean and in great condition. If we weren’t at the beach we were fishing in oyster lake right beside the home or cruising 30A. The home had plenty of space with 4bedrooms and 3bathroom. All beach necessities such as umbrellas, beach chairs, wagon, kids toys etc. were offered. Great memories with family were thanks to the heron!

AMAZING property, great location!

We had a blast ringing in my daughters 25th birthday here! The house provided just about everything you needed for a fun time on the beach (chairs, tent, etc..) and a wagon to carry it all over. Great location close to resturants, shops and grocery. The house had wonderful views all around and the sunset right at the center of the porch. Paddleboarding on the lake was a personal cherry on top! We will absolutely be back - thank you so much, Brian!

Wonderful Stay!

The Heron is beautiful inside and out and uniquely placed to get stunning views. It looks like the pictures, however, pics cannot capture the wonderful lighting and spaciousness. The living room area is more spacious and open than appears in the pics. Our family (adults, and teens/young adults and their friends) really enjoyed it! There were 8 of us and I would say that was the perfect amount, and that more than 10 would be too crowded. Easy access to the beach and paddle boards were fun!
