This is a great property for large groups. There are two large living areas and outside spaces around the pool and porches. The location was fantastic and was, indeed, 250 yards from the closest beach. We had a couple of minor issues; however, they were taken care of quickly without inconvenience. The property manager did a great job.

Excellent location.

The location was phenomenal. Perfect parking for a larger group. Lots of space, plenty of hot water for 15 teen girls to get ready for the things teen girls get ready for and still leave the moms with hot showers. Very responsive property managers. We had a great time and would definitely stay again with a big group.

This property is beautiful outside, has an amazing pool set up, is in a perfect location, and is in great proximity to the beach. The reason my rating is low is due to the cleanliness of the property and plumbing issues during our stay. We expect bugs during hot summer months, but not roaches. There were at least 12 discovered during our stay, with 3 in the kitchen. In addition, when a toilet downstairs was flushed the sewage would come up through the shower, and it made the house smell badly. Management was responsive, very kind, and sent 2 from their team out immediately following our call about the plumbing issue ; however, they did not follow up or do anything to accommodate us. We paid too much money for the week to have these issues. I don’t recommend this property unless they guarantee these items are corrected.

Family friendly

We had our 4 daughters and their families as well as my husband and I. We rented a 6 person golf cart as there were 19 of us and lots of stuff, which is what we used the cart for. It was an easy walk so you could come and go w/o needing to drive. We came back for naps, more food, etc. we rode the bikes provided to the town square in the evening. It’s a little over a mile. The house was clean. Kitchens had plenty of dishes,silverware and serving pieces for all of us. The pool was in use a lot, especially with the little ones and was shaded until 11 and then again around 4. We didn’t have any issues that needed to be addressed. We came Saturday and the pool could have used a cleaning by Thursday or Friday. I imagine it is done once/week but was very clean when we arrived. It was nice having a hose to wash off the sand and sunscreen before getting in. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for adults and families. It is split level so the kids could have the bottom level and adults the top but still all be together. House does not have games, cards, kitchen dish towels....Make sure you bring these.

Great week at the beach!

Great house to accomodate 15 people across 3 generations. So many spaces to be in the house it never felt cramped. Having two full kitchens was a nice plus! It's also walkable to the beach and a lot of shops, restaurants, etc. Close to Seaside/Watercolor and all they have to offer. Woud definitely recommend.

Family Christmas 2022

My family’s 2022 Christmas was awesome. Our rental was super nice with everything we needed. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate and we didn’t get to enjoy the beach, we still enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as advertised.

Lovely house with easy walk to gorgeous Seagrove Beach

We had a wonderful stay at Aweigh from Home. It accommodated our large group well, with ample bedrooms and baths. Kind of a weird layout... two smallish kitchens (upstairs did have a large eating table) but not a great open gathering space for our crew. Decor was modest. Pool was great but nothing fancy. A few broken things but nothing crazy. It served us just fine as we are a low key group and spent most of our time at the beach anyway (sand like sugar and water like glass). Early October proved to be an absolutely gorgeous time to visit and we will be back!

Big family vacation

We had an awesome stay for our big family vacation. There was 18 people and we all fit comfortably in this house. We had 3 older people with us with knee problems so having rooms and a kitchen on the first floor worked out great for them. The only issue for them was the stairs going down to the beach, it was a lot for them to climb. A short 3 min drive there is a public beach access with a ramp going to the beach and a parking lot. We did have an issue with the plumbing backing up and they were out and had it fixed that day. Very pleased with the response time. The house sat off theain road which was nice because it was quit but still close to the beach. We had a wonderful time and the house was very accommodating to our family.

Non-working features.

We had two important issues with the rental that were not resolved and several smaller problems. 1. The jacuzzi was not heated. 2. Only one jet worked in the jacuzzi. We were told that someone would come to look at the Jacuzzi, but the service man never showed up. 3. The middle level of the AC never blew out cold air. We did reset the breaker as suggested, but it did not fix the issue. 4. The toilet paper was so thin that you could not even pull it off of the holder without it breaking. Ridiculous for such a nice place to try to save a few pennies by putting in literally the worst TP I've ever seen. And not enough rolls for a week of occupants that size. Seems like a small thing, but it tells you what the owner/mgt company thinks of their guests. 5. The shower in one of the bathrooms upstairs never worked properly. We didn't report it at the time as the guest just used another shower and I forgot to submit it. Given that we paid for these services the ethical (right) thing to do would be to refund part of our payment. $500 would be my request. I don't expect that to happen as most VRBO/mgt companies really don't care about the renters other than getting their $. You can be sure that I'll post this information on any public forums. It is a big, beautiful home with a lot of features, but this means that it is going to require some recurring re-investment to keep it enjoyable as advertised. I own and rent property through VRBO so I am an informed renter.

Spacious Home with a few issues

The good: The home was very spacious for our group. Kitchens were well stocked as mentioned, the bedroom sizes were great and spacious. The outdoor spaces were nice too! We really enjoy the home for these reasons. There was a small gift upon our arrival; very nice touch! Keep that up😊 The bad: However, there were a few problems that we had. For starters we had found a dead mouse inside the house when we awaken the very first night of our stay!! Scared me, I don’t do critters! Someone from the property management company did get over within the hour to remove it from the house. Perhaps more regularly scheduled pest control is needed. There are some maintenance issues that definitely need to be addressed before renting again in my opinion. The pool wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, however there was someone removing leaves when we first arrived. The downstairs bedroom/bath had issues as well; the towel holder in the bathroom was coming off the wall, the bathtub stopper was not attached, the vents were not working, it caused a musty smell in that bedroom and bath. The main fridge/freezer upstairs had an issue where the freezer was stuck and wouldn’t opened fully. I do think the owner and/or property management company needs to go over there home and give it a thorough review to address the maintenance issues and to view simple wear & tear of the rental overall. Again it was a great spacious place to rent and it served my group well in that regard. We take an annual trip to the area every year and we did reconsider this home originally for next year. So, would I rent it again? Maybe
.but would hope that items and the overall maintenance are addressed first.

Aweigh!

This property was perfect for a large family. We enjoyed the heated pool and the short walk to the beach. The teens enjoyed biking to Seaside for their gelato! The kitchens were thoroughly stocked with dishes, glasses etc. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Family Reunion Fun

This large house and on site swimming pool was perfect for our extended family of 16 souls from 3 states! The home was very clean and pleasantly decorated and well maintained. The pool was large enough to entertain the younger members while the adults were busy preparing for the next excursion. Nice that the pool was cleaned mid-week. A short walk to the beach. The daunting 2 1/2 story stairs leading down to the beach was overcome by the crystal blue water and white sand beach. Lots of eating places at about a mile to the Central Square, but bicycling or golf cart is the preferred transportation to the Square due to lots of car traffic on 30A. We all had a great time and recommend Aweigh from Home for a big family reunion!

Our Family Vacation

We hosted our family vacation this year! ❀ The house was perfect for our family! Plenty of space for everyone with all the different floors, decks, and cubby holes. We definitely did not feel crowded; which helped with distance for any of those feeling not so "positive" or just needed a nap. Perfect distance to the beach! The beach was not crowded and beautiful as usual. The house house has a few maintenance issues but minimal; shows it's age slightly. We had a septic issues upon arrival that was promptly attended to. No further issues. Overall, the house was perfect and amazing. Thanks for the memories!

The house was fine, considering we were four families, of 20 people total. The amount of stairs for the older folks was a bit of a problem., as well as our 2-year old. The location was fine, only 2 short blocks to the beach. However, climbing up and down some 50 steps to get to and from the beach was also a bit of an issue for many of us. Because of these, we rate the property a 4, out of 5 !

We had a great stay and the house was beautiful g enough for our family The pool was absolutely amazing. We did have some issues with the cleanliness of the property and issues with the check in. But the cleaners came back and management made it right. Thank you!
