When I reserved I sent a message to hotel requesting late checkout due to me leaving on my bday and wanting to sleep in. They advised of a $20 per hour charge which I agreed to. When I checked in on 10/9 the front desk(she was so friendly and very busy. I was confused to why she was alone with a full line and I could hear other employees in the back room chitchatting). She also acknowledged the 2 hour late checkout on 10/10. I went about my evening to celebrate my 37th birthday then was ABRUPTLY woken up at 11am with BANGING on the door then precepts try to walk in without even giving 5 seconds for me to get to the door. Luckily I had the top lock and they couldn’t walk in on us. She then was yelling “check out is at 11”. I told them I had requested the late checkout and she just left. The phone then rang and it was the front desk who had a defensive tone. I went to the front desk and I was quite frustrated as my BF has epilepsy and a situation like this could have brought on a seizure to him. She then seemed to have a bit more compassion when I told her this and she did offer to only charge 1 hour for the miscommunication. I had been sooo excited and wanting to check this place out for awhile but with this experience I don’t know if I would ever go back. A relaxing birthday morning turned into me feeling rushed and not enjoying the time.

The room was very nice, clean, and updated; but there were a couple tears in the comforter. They didn’t have a bottle opener that we could take to the room but had one at the check in desk where we could bring our wine to them. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was a knockout amenity! I only real complaint (and this is not their fault) is that a couple of car alarms were going off in the early morning when we were trying to sleep in

Don’t let your view from the street fool you, this is a super clean, well kept, very spacious rooms hotel. The bed was so comfortable, I had an excellent nights sleep!! The breakfast was very good with many choices such as eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, bagels, yogurt and fruit choices. We will definitely stay here again!!

I was accosted by an angry woman after making a legal right turn into the property. I was followed into the property, and threatened by this woman. I did not feel safe at the property, so I contacted Expedia and checked out of my remaining stay. I requested Expedia for a refund of my remaining stay. Expedia reached out to the property manager over the course of two weeks, and was ignored by the property owners. To add insult to injury, this property took my money for a complete stay and I didn’t even complete my stay.

The Sandman had large, very nice pool area. We also appreciated the updates to the rooms and the cleanliness. The only real criticism we have about this property was that there was very little seating available for breakfast, and it was frequently crowded because of the number of rooms and guests at the hotel.

I was surprised at the great rate, so I read the reviews, which were good, so we stayed there. I was not disappointed! It was clean and comfortable. There’s plenty of parking in front of each room. The breakfast was more than I expected. They had scrambled eggs, sausage links, country potatoes, and of course bread to toast, donuts, etc. I will definitely stay here again!

Rooms, Breakfast, Property were great. There did seem to be a lot of issues with the room keys. I was staying for wedding and our party had several rooms at the hotel. Several of us at different times were locked out our rooms because the keys didnt work. Staff was there to assist in timely matter though. It was an inconvenience at times, especially at odd hours. That being said, I would stay there again.

The room was clean when we arrived. We thought it was trange when the tv would not turn on, but when travelling, these things happen. It was the next day when we realized everything was unplugged. Refridge, microwave, tv. Plugged it back in, but fridge still did not work. And we had perishables. They came and fixed that immediately. Toilet seat was broken...ants visited our room...wifi reception for phones was not good. Breakfast was nice, but food, like yougurt was not replenished once it was gone. We reported evrything to the receptionist.
