Perfection

After travelling the world to some really cool places over the years, we rarely get that ‘wow’ moment - until we saw our room here! Genuinely, takes your breath away when you see the 180 degree Caldera view from the fully furnished terrace - a room we’ll crave returning to, just a shame we only stayed for 2 nights. To add to the sheer beauty of the room and view, the service couldn’t have been any better. We were met at the taxi rank and had our bags taken to the hotel (even when we arrived at the promenade front gate to the hotel, the view was barely believable!). George the Manager was brilliant, gave us lots of info on the local area and was such a lovely guy. The best part of the check in was selecting which freshly made to order items you wanted for breakfast the following day - which is then delivered to your room at your desired time and set up on your own private balcony with the ‘wow’ view! This just completed the experience! Honestly, a really great place which we will 100% return to - I’m already missing that room with a view. Perfection.

Its prime location, Edwardo and George were amazing, extremely helpful in making our stay effortless. Breakfast was great and on time. The view was incredible from balcony. The bus is a few mins walk, next to taxi station and very cost effective and comfortable. 20 mins to Oia or port, highly recommended taxi is very expensive. Over all it an ideal location. Definitely will return to stay @ Asteras Villa, highly recommended for your stay. Thank you George & Edwardo!

Firstly, the Property Manager Mr. George… he’s a great person, polite, friendly and very helpful. He’s indeed a warm and wonderful guy. The property was well-maintained, clean and strategically located. Easy to find. Only drawback we have noticed and told George… was the outdated Flooring. But clean of course. The White Marble Flooring is OLD FASHIONED and spoils the asthetic of a great Property. Good food. Great location. Amazing view. Another gentleman named Eddy… one who helped us with our Luggage and Breakfast, every day including our room’s housekeeping… is an amazing man. Very good. Very strong !!

Amazing stay - great staff

Absolutely amazing stay at Asteras Villas. George (Giorgios), our host, went above and beyond every day to take care of anything we needed. Recommendations were on point. Eduardo carried our bags up and down the stairs with a smile on his face :) We stayed in two of the suites - first La Luna, which is a huge cave-like room with a balcony and the most amazing unobstructed view of the caldera. Such a unique and beautiful room. We loved it. We extended a night and had to move to the Galitea Suite. Much smaller and the view was amazing but not as perfect as unobstructed as La Luna. Very comfortable but definitely small. The location in Fira is absolutely perfect. Great bars and restaurants all around you. Things to know: in the shoulder season, when it’s chilly out - the hot tub is NOT hot. It was too cold to use, which was a little disappointing. I’m sure in the heat of summer it is perfect though. Breakfast was plentiful and decent - not amazing but good. The place was beautiful and clean and well maintained. And again - the staff and hosts were so great they made the whole stay absolutely perfect. I would return in a second. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Santorini!

What an amazing stay! It was our first time in Santorini and we stumbled upon this gem of a listing. The location is right off the Fira-Oia Hike, closely located to restaurants and shops. George and the staff were very kind in giving recommendations and being accommodating with storing luggage, working around travel plans, etc. We started each morning watching the sunrise, had a lovely and filling breakfast, toured the day away, then spent each evening in our unit watching the sunset in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to Asteras Villas!

Anniversary Retreat

We stayed in the Luna suite and it was fabulous! Demitris and all of the staff provided excellent service, including booking my in-room massage, our airport transfers and our ATV rental. The suite was perfect for our romantic getaway: clean, spacious, and comfortable. The balcony provided the perfect place to enjoy beautiful views of the Caldera and sunsets.

Dimitris was so helpful and kind. We got there really late at night after our ferry was delayed and being our last stop before flying home after 2 weeks in Greece, we had very large bags. There are many steps to get down to the rooms and someone was there to help us. Breakfast was amazing! The view, the room, the area surrounding is so lovely. My only complaint is that a car was ordered for us through the hotel to get to the airport and the driver was really aggressively mean. We had bought some pastry for our travels home and the bag fell over in the car, partly because our luggage was in the van with us and kept sliding around because the area is hilly. Some sugar got on the floor and he got really angry yelling at us and slamming doors... That was literally the only bad interaction I had in greece on 4 islands! Everyone else was so lovely.

Dimitris at reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel, however, has gotten a little shabby—needs renovating. The real problem is that there are over 100 steps to get down to the hotel, and, of course, the same number to get back up to the street. I would not have reserved the property had I known that. I have lung issues, so it was very difficult for me.
