Staff were amazing in crowd management during breakfast. No typical yelling or voice raising like anywhere else. I was very impressed. The delicious food was of high quality and with variety. The room was ok. The bathtub used for shower could be refurbished. However, the location was perfect for my purpose of attending the Snow Festival. I had a great time there.

My wood floors in my room looked clean but when I put a damp towel to it, the towel was black and filthy wow. The floors should be mopped regularly.

The hotel was clean, upscale, and convenient. We went to Sapporo for the Snow Festival and the Sapporo View Hotel is directly across the street from the Odori Park site. It was a quick walk to the Ice Festival in Susukino and an easy Uber or taxi ride anywhere we went. There are many good dining options surrounding the hotel.

The efficiency of the hotel. Room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Afternoon complimentary snacks and drinks in the lounge. Breakfast was reasonably priced and the buffet superb. Although would have loved Gluten Free bread. Very close proximity to Theodore park for the ice sculptures.

Cleaning up requests wasn't quite at par with expectations of a 4-star Japanese hotel. Dust accumulation under the bed and bedside tables were surprising - as if the room wasn't vacuumed for years. The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable dakedo dusty, and gave me a runny nose. Overall, we had a great time and the staff were all too happy to help us out. Our initial room had a water leak and they moved us to a bigger room for safety reasons (slip trip and fall). Breakfast buffet was quite good to start off the day exploring Sapporo. Would definitely be back (hopefully for a better rate ahaha). Mata ne!
