Beach access is great! Had chairs available to use daily. Walk right downtown to many restaurants and stores. We took Uber from Bradenton airport and back. No need for a rental car here everything is in walking distance.

Nice small unit, but plenty of room for 2 people. Great location close to shopping, dining and just steps to the beach. The beach is a very popular location for sunset photos. The water is gorgeous! There is no beach service available so be prepared to take your own chairs and umbrellas to the beach. Rental companies are available and will deliver umbrellas and chairs to the unit. Many people had their own canopies. Also, no lifeguards on duty. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Perfect Paradise

Memorial Weekend gateway was perfect. From the beginning to end. Location is steps away from the beach. Siesta Village right down the streets/2 blocks away. No need to move your car once you have arrived. Home is perfect for a couple. Is cozy, clean & has a true feeling like you’re on vacation.

Great Location!

We loved how close this unit is to Patriots Point! A few short steps to the beautiful ocean! Great bars and restaurants nearby too! The unit was very nicely decorated and clean. Also enjoyed the pool area. Early morning construction was a minor distraction and we never did locate our parking pass (however parking was not an issue) Coffee filters and a couple more dish towels would have been appreciated, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

we wanted close to the beach but also be able to walk to the Oyster Bar! Website didn’t list a TV or coffee pot so we brought those but didn’t need too. Maybe updated now.

When we first checked in at 4:00, we loved it! The property was small but perfect and exactly what we needed! Amazing location. We went to check out the beach, then to get something to eat. Around 5:30, I received an email from Vacasa stating that there was an important change to my upcoming reservation and cottage # 3 will not be available due to a maintenance issue that they cannot remedy before my stay and that they do not have any other rental properties available in Siesta Key. I called the "Relocation Services Team" to let them know that it isn't an upcoming reservation, I was already there and had driven 9.5 hours to get there. Long story short, I ended up having to pack up all of our things and relocate to a property 45 minutes away at 10:30 pm, which completely ruined my trip, as I had already rented a golf cart for the few days we were going to be in Siesta Key, that I couldn't get my money back for and had booked a few activities in Siesta Key that were already paid for so I spent much of my vacation time driving back and forth from the new location back to Siesta Key. I was told that the issue was mold. We also saw a few roaches as we were packing up to leave.

When we arrived we thought the unit was charming and quaint. Location was great due to ease of beach access. We noticed a puddle inside the bedroom and assumed the cleaners spilled some mop water. We cleaned it up and began unpacking. As we unpacked it became apparent that water was accumulating on the floor again. After investigation, we found two spots on the ceiling where water was continuously dripping. The ceiling boards were very saturated. I contacted Vacasa assuming they would get someone over for the repair and we left the unit to go eat. While we were gone I communicated with Vacasa and VRBO and no one seemed to think the issue needed immediate attention. They assured me that the unit was due for “routine maintenance” the following day. After we returned to the unit we decided that we would get some pots out for the leak they didn’t want to fix and see if they would fix the issues the next day. That’s when it took a turn for the worse. I walked into the kitchen to find an adult cockroach on the counter. After killing it and cleaning up I began looking at the unit more closely and found 3 more and killed them. We then realized that there were a lot of tiny ones as well, and another large one crawled out from under the attached unit door. We rapidly packed and purchased an Uber to Sarasota. Between the leaking, mold, and cockroach infestation - book at your own risk. (I have photos and videos of this, and would have discussed it with the owner direct

Honest

The property was very clean and big enough for the 2 of us. Contacting anyone for any questions or issues was simple and efficient. Close to the beech and easy walking distance to the stores and restaurants. Couple complaints is that the room has extremely thin walls and can hear everything especially if you have a neighbor next to you. If youre looking for a few downtime hours of quietness this is not the place for you. You hear everyones conversations as they walk by on the street etc.... TV situation is confusing if you dont know technology. If you wanted to watch tv on your downtime you have to stream your own apps and sign into them each day. Would i stay again? If the price was right...probaby.

Spring Break

This location is ideal due to the short distance to the beach and is quiet compared to the other accesses to the beach. The walk to Siesta Key village is only 2-3 blocks away for shops and restaurants. We left just prior to the heavy Spring Break crowd.

Fun on the beach

Very nice unit. Quaint but had every thing we needed. Steps to the beach. Unique and inspirational sunrise and sunset flag ceremony near by. Quick walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Beach was good for shelling and sand dollars.

Cute clean cabin vibe by the beach

So I was really amazed at how adorable this property was. It was perfect for two adults with a nice king size bed. Very cozy and cute. Not a big place but had everything we needed. I would love to stay and I thought the location was outstanding. Great communication from the owners at Vacasa, and very easy to stay there. I loved it.
