The hotel is old. Needs a little paint on doors. But everything was clean. Breakfast was continental which means waffle and bread which were very good. Missed the eggs and meat but we knew what to expect. Good for our two day stay. Close to beach and other places. The parking was good. I would have liked to check in with an actual person at the desk and not through a computer. I feel it took longer this way even though the staff was good. I really had no major complaint. It was good for our stay

First of all I get to the “hotel” and there isn’t anyone at the front desk to greet customers and help with check in. Instead there is an machine doing the check in. I was placed in a room that the lights didn’t function in. When I called the front desk they asked me to come down to change my room. As I came back down to the machine I asked the gentlemen to place me on the first floor as I was traveling alone and placing my in room 223 at the end, all alone didn’t seem safe. He denied my request and said that because I booked online he cannot do that change. I told him that room 108 was available and it was a single bed room. He still denied it and said the room was going to be occupied. He placed me in room 223 - the phone did not work. I go down to the pool to enjoy the pool and the pool was extremely dirty. There was garbage and large bugs floating all over the pool and the floor was cover in a black sud. The following days it was cleaned and much better but that first day was not. The breakfast was descent, nothing big just bread, butter, coffee, juice, waffle, yogurt and cereal- that’s it. They didn’t even offer water for breakfast. The only positive thing I saw was the lady who attended the breakfast my first two mornings was amazing and sweet. Also liked that in the bathroom they place a towel-mat to use as a bathroom rug when you step out ! The vending machines are old, don’t turn on and didn’t have a lot of variety. Will not stay again and don’t recommend.

Bed bugs

My family needed a place to stay for a few nights. I booked for them from out of town. They were horribly bitten by bed bugs. So severe that she may be heading to the er. Due to swelling. Room was changed after i called with no other bites but 2-3 nights bitten up. Never again.

Clean Room

Great quick check in. Staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. The only down would be the curtain was a little ripped up but it was a great stay for our short trip. I would recommend for a stay.

This is the first automated check in and it was very dissatisfying. There was no human being to get a blanket or pillow etc. The machine required a $100.00 deposit which was to be credited back to me. At checkout Wednesday (4 days ago) and has not been credited to my account yet. Not happy.
