Lighting was poor in our room, mattress not great quality, had to ask both nights for face cloths. We had breakfast both mornings at the restaurant- the food was good & our server, Jennifer was friendly & was good at her job.

I had the absolute worst experience ive ever encountered while staying at a hotel.. Myself and 3 kids arrived at 12:30am for checkin after driving 6 hours to come for our hockey tournament.. I booked our stay through expedia and prepaid for our room. In my confirmation email it said we just had to pay a 50.00 deposit per day that we were there which was super easy. When we arrived they said they did not take mastercard debit which was all i brought with me as they didnt say anything about not accepting them.I was told they would not check us in and would not refund our money as we booked through a 3rd party so we were completely out of luck. They refused to make any sort of exceptions. I could not believe how they were completely fine to make my kids and myself sleep in our vehichle in a city we knew no one.. I said my parents will fill out the required incidental form no problem for the use of their credit card but please just wait until morning as at this point it was 1am. I was almost histerical at this point as i didnt want to worry my parents but they insisted i wake my almost 80 yr parents up at 1am and get them to fill out this form or we would have to sleep in my car and be out our money for the hotel.. If they had let us know ahead of time my card wasnt accepted i would ave done it sooner but the email said nothing. When i told the manager what occured the following day. He smiled and said well too bad but not our problem. MOST UNCANADIAN Hotel EVER.
