Check in was easy. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils dishes, glasses. Bathrooms were very nice. Only complaint was the floor was not clean. Our feet were black after walking around barefoot
This is an amazing property to stay in. Loved the close proximity to Saugatuck and Douglas, yet just on the outskirts of town to enjoy the peace and quiet as well! Also well appointed if you are traveling with children and/or infants. The only drawback was that we were told there was a two car maximum per HOA guidelines. Eight of us jammed into two vehicles (including a 1 and 3 yr old so two car seats)with all of our things for an extended weekend. When we got there nearly every cabin had 3 vehicles. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. It is a very nice destination to visit. Would have been a bit easier getting everyone where they wanted Togo if we would have had 3 cars.
It was a lovely stay on such a wonderful piece of land! Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including baby/toddler items. They even had a nice wooden high chair! The upstairs space was beautiful to relax in and had so many fun board games. Would recommend this place to anyone!
What a great place to stay for a romantic Valentines weekend!
We both thoroughly enjoyed the space, the amenities and the location of this property just north of Saugatuck. Super easy to get downtown Saugatuck, Doug, and even a nice short drive to Holland. This property was nicely appointed with all the items we needed for a nice stay. Thoroughly enjoyed using the fireplace and the hot tub. If we only had one suggestion is that we shouldâve stayed a day longer.!! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Thanks
This is a great place for the weekend if you have 8 or more people. Lodging and facilities are excellent. Easy drive to Holland, Saugatuck, Douglas, and Fennville from this location. I would stay here again.
This is our third time staying at King Fisher Cove. It is the perfect location complete with luxury cabin, heated swimming pool, and lake and dock for for fishing and kayaking. It feels remote but is close to all the things Saugatuck has to offer. We will be back.
Rented this cabin for a friends weekend and it was amazing!! Looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The covered back porch with the hot tub was perfect for rainy evenings and the upstairs lounge was great for hanging out. Excellent location, close to downtown Saugatuck but tucked away enough to still feel quiet and private.
Just a handful of small complaints - the king bed upstairs felt very hard, there were no side tables next to the bed, and the overhead lights in the room were burnt out. Also every remote was dead so we werenât able to use the TVs. The coffee maker was extremely slow, Iâm assuming it is probably clogged and needs a good clean. Lastly, we couldnât find a fan in the kitchen so the smoke alarms went off every time we cooked, but they turned off quickly on their own so it was okay.
Property managers were very responsive and helpful. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!
