Parking was easy. Not much of a view out the windows. AS the temperatures warmed up the AC was not able to keep the place cool. The first couple of days it was not bad, but as the temperatures rose outside, so did they rise inside. The host was informed, but because it was Christmas could not get anyone to fix it. She was very apologetic. Windows were sealed so they could not be opened. Other than that everything else was good. The bed was really comfortable.
Trouble accessing the property when we got there, only one roll of toilet paper for 4 guests and 3 nights, doors do not close. No seasonings in kitchen. No hand soap in bathroom. Not enough seating
The neighborhood and walkable was superb. It was great to have a dedicated parking space and check-in was easy. I expected old and charming, however the property needs maintenance. The couch and chair upholstery were dirty, and a shutter banged all night (we were there on a particularly windy night and property management said that they will look at it). Could be great with better bedding and a deep cleaning.
This property is very close to Forsyth Park and definitely walkable to the River Walk (about 1 mile). Most days we walked down to the river and then took an Uber back later at night. We had a rental car, but chose to just leave it parked at the VRBO unless we were doing sight seeing by car. Finding parking downtown Savannah is tough and it is all paid parking. We didnât see any free parking anywhere.
The beds at this property were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay.
