We had a wonderful time in Savannah and that includes the stately accommodations at the Marshall House. The extras, like the happy hour and the served breakfast, were delightfully executed and added to the panache of southern hospitality we experienced. Everyone was wonderful.

It was a great stay. Loved the facilities and the Halloween decorations. The entertainment from 5-6:30 nightly was great. We got to learn some history of Savannah and of the Marshall House. If we come to Savannah again, we will stay at the Marshall House. Great staff, everyone is friendly and helpful. Thank you.

We had a suite and it was absolutely brilliant. This hotel is within short walking distance of the main sights and the better restaurants. Given the quality of the room it surprised us that there were no tea and coffee making facilities nor glass beakers. Had to use the plastic ones provided. Strange! Still a good hotel though. Full of old Southern charm.

The best experience of exploring Savannah was staying at the Marshall House. Every evening they served wine and cheese from 5:00-6:30 and had entertainment. The first night was a specialist on the paranormal, second night was a guy and his guitar and the third night was a historical talk. Loved the library where we were all entertained, comfortable seating. The staff went above and beyond, the hotel itself has been beautifully restored and is the oldest in Savannah. The breakfast was excellent! Truly the best experience!

First, the staff and service at the Marshall House were top-notch - friendly, efficient, and super helpful. They made our check-in so easy and thanks to the valet help we were able to make a very tight dinner res right after we arrived in Savannah and checked in. Breakfast, with tableside service, was ample and so different from the usual sad mainstream hotel fare. The only drawback was some of the hot food was room temperature, but it's hard to feed that many people without some fallout. The dining room is a sight to behold, like a big airy courtyard - so special. The coffee was the best, and always available in the lobby. Our room was very spacious, the queen beds firm and comfortable, and the bathroom with step-in shower was awesome with a strong flow of hot water. Luxurious! The whole experience was special because of the history, the decor (including manuscripts, maps, and artwork on the hallway walls), the wine/cheese and lecture events, and the location on Broughton Street. Although we didn't hear or see any ghosts, we thoroughly enjoyed the chills and excitement centering on the Marshall House's history and haunted reputation! I thought the price was also reasonable considering what you get: a one-of-a-kind experience in a very comfortable and beautiful hotel. We highly recommend the Marshall House and undoubtedly will return for a visit!

This is a historic building so doesn’t have the clean lines and appearance of a new hotel. Our room was small with very little horizontal space for our belongings. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The tub/shower was a clawfoot tub with a curtain surrounding the entire tub. It was charming to look at, but difficult for a retiree to use safely. The retro fitted air conditioning was loud and blew directly onto us when we were in bed. The bar was very nice, and our cocktails were superb. There is a nightly wine and cheese reception that looked lovely (we do not drink wine). The complimentary breakfast was very good. We did not try the restaurant for dinner.

Our nicely decorated, large room with two queen beds had a lovely updated bathroom. The B&B was clean and offered a delicious homemade breakfast, served at tables. The complimentary wine and cheese hour included entertainment each night and service was amazing. Bottled water, coffee and tea were always available. The location of this beautiful inn was perfect for walking all over the Historic District or accessing the trolleys. Lots of food choices and shops on Broughton St. (And we did not encounter any ghosts!). An overall wonderful stay.
Super talented harpist played requests ranging from classical to Elvis to Led Zeppelin, providing a friendly and fun experience.
